Wow. Fridays night and the death And murder of Chantelle 😢😢

That was moving and horrendous to watch while gray plans his alibi of her death With

In some ways she will silly to taunt him. And she should have left a message on Khareet phone instead of ringing it lots when went to ansa machine

She should have said she was leaving gray. She loved Khareet and last message was a ploy As gray found out

Then gray will be done for murder

All the other plot lines form previous thread have been sorted

Nice to have ee back after the break

That's true. But remember when Vinny got involved with the drugs in the club? Ash was the one who paid the bloke off and dealt with the situation. She's a bit of a chi off the old block (her mum Suki's). And we haven't even met the dad yet 😯

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2020 20:07

That istrue I forgot about Ash and vinny drug thing she also covered up something at his houseparty!

southeastdweller · 12/10/2020 20:28

So I was right about Mick!

PinkDaydreams · 12/10/2020 20:54

Was Mick abused then? I wasn't watching properly (too busy mumsnetting!)

MaddieElla · 12/10/2020 20:58

How old are they saying her mum was? They're saying mick was 12, but presumably she wasn't as Frankie would know.

Maybe it is abuse, they all think she was lovely but she groomed him, hence why they're saying he was obsessed with her.

Meredusoleil · 12/10/2020 21:21

Oh dear! Poor Mick. Only 12 years old 😔 She must have been at least 16 I reckon. How horrible for Frankie to find out about her mum like that. Shirley is definitely suspicious now!

Smallsteps88 · 12/10/2020 21:22

If she was their carer as Tina said then she will have been older than school age at least.

Meredusoleil · 12/10/2020 21:39

She was their carer? I must have missed that bit when Tina said it. Ffs this is getting messier by the second.
Meredusoleil · 12/10/2020 21:41

How has Martin managed to marry Ruby when he's still married to Stacey? I don't remember them getting a divorce 🤔 This has got to be a wind up surely? Otherwise it would be bigamy which is illegal!

EE really is going too far in the desperate attempts to pull the viewers back in. I mean, the story lines are just getting beyond absurd now 🙄

Smallsteps88 · 12/10/2020 21:45

Yes. Tina was going on about how much mick loved her etc and someone, I think Shirley, said “was she your carer/one of your carers?” And Tina said yes.

Oh you mean when they were in foster care? Was this after Shirley had given Mick up and then pretended he was her brother rather than her son? I don't think I was watching EE when all this came out 🤦🏻‍♀️
Smallsteps88 · 12/10/2020 21:48

Yes it must have been a foster carer!

excelledyourself · 12/10/2020 21:55

What's this about Martin marrying Ruby??

Mrsjayy · 12/10/2020 21:58

Oh I've not seen it and now I feel bad poor Mick 😢

Years ago some body i went to school with let young teenage boys hang around her house to drink and smoke it came about that she had abused 3 of them it was awful,

MaddieElla · 12/10/2020 22:29

Oh I see, totally missed the carer bit.

Dark turn indeed.

Smallsteps88 · 12/10/2020 23:44

I know I’ve whinged about EEs excessive amount of storylines about girls women being abused but that didn’t mean I wanted them to start writing about boys being abused. Maybe just not write about anyone being abused for a while. At least not while the most recent 2 abuse cases are yet to be finished!

southeastdweller · 13/10/2020 06:13

If his abuser was his foster carer, Tina would have said she was his foster mum. Mick was in a care home, it's been said before years ago.

This is going to tear Shirley apart when she finds out 🙈
SoupDragon · 13/10/2020 07:25

I'm sure Stacey and Martin did get divorced. She sent him divorce papers.

SoupDragon · 13/10/2020 07:32

I think Frankie's mum was maybe a social worker? I've watched the Vic scene with subtitles on and it doesn't make sense for her to have been a foster carer (she left suddenly). Tina says Mick "followed her around" which doesn't fit with foster carer or social worker though... 🤔

When Frankie says "Mick was 12?" The look on Shirley's face is very telling - she's worked it out.

Maybe a Tracy Beaker style children’s home?

SoupDragon · 13/10/2020 08:12

Yes "We all loved her" implies she was caring for lots.

bigarsebelinda · 13/10/2020 10:15

EE went into with a big story on return after COVID break but now the story lines are shockingly bad.

Whitney court case - surely she can't be a victim anymore?

Mick/ frankie - annoying and unoriginal

Phil/ Denise/ Raymond- see above

The Martin and ruby story is so shite it's not worth commenting on!

The funeral was ridiculously underplayed

I could go on...

Am I just grumpy or is anyone else with me?
We need some proper drama around the gray thing- he's moping about like he regrets it!

Smallsteps88 · 13/10/2020 10:37

I assumed a carer in a group children’s home.

SoupDragon · 13/10/2020 12:18

I think it must be.

I'm not sure he sees himself as having been abused. Not in the same way that Stuart was anyway.
