NOT that Corrie will let the facts get in the way of a bad storyline.

MsMiaWallace · 01/10/2020 08:51

I also wondered what are they gonna live on with selling all their businesses without even a consultation from Dr Schmitts.

Funny how they are going to take advantage of Nina too.
Her designs got them out of the shit but hey we'll freelance her for 2 months make money off her designs.
Where Sarah was going to completely screw up that meeting.

eggandonion · 01/10/2020 09:19

If they sell up they will have no money, but will still manage breakfast in Roy's, takeaway coffee, shopping in the corner shop, a kebab and a trip to the Rovers. All funded by Ken.

desperatehousewife21 · 01/10/2020 11:06

Just caught up. I also thought the Michael being told Tianna didn’t belong to Grace was a good twist, also didn’t see that coming.

I wish I could find out where they get the clothes for Carla’s wardrobe from. I loved the green kimono thing she was wearing. I’ve loved loads of her clothes but can never find them irl.

I wonder where the Oliver story is heading, they’re raising all this money and selling all their livelihoods on a complete gamble that might not even work.

thenightsky · 01/10/2020 11:50

I'm now glad I've been fast forwarding through the Aggie family scenes, because it looks like its all been a waste of time anyway.

ajandjjmum · 01/10/2020 12:08

Carla's kimono was beautiful. Isn't there a site that lists where the outfits come from? Don't know what/where it is though - sorry!

Smallsteps88 · 01/10/2020 12:43

I think ASOS do clothes that have been on Tv.

AltheaThoon · 01/10/2020 14:40

I also loved the green thing that Carla was wearing.

I thought the Tianna twist was good, but I'm also hoping it signals the end of Grace as I don't like the character. I saw a clip of tomorrow's episode earlier today. No spoilers but there's some more awful acting from Michael's dad.

desperatehousewife21 · 01/10/2020 14:52

Bad acting from the dad is def not a spoiler, it’s a given Grin

Spotted.tv has bits and bobs on there but they don’t have anywhere near the amount of Carla’s wardrobe listed as I’d like

@Smallsteps88

Wasn't their original 'thing' ASOS (As Seen On Screen)?
Smallsteps88 · 01/10/2020 19:26

Yes that’s what I thought? Is it not anymore? I don’t really buy clothes online.

Deadringer · 01/10/2020 20:08

Is this the look Adam is going for?

Corrie Thread - No SPOILERS. Jonny, Scott & A Tub of Lube Edition.
Deadringer · 01/10/2020 20:14

I suppose it was only a matter of time before Shakespear's sister got a job in the factory, she is doing fashion design or something at college i think? The Grace story is beyond stupid, i can only assume that she did it because she was enjoying the attention from Michael and his family. And why did she call the police, surely she would have wanted the whole mess sorted out quietly. Daft. Definitely 12 year olds interns doing the writing.

PoloNeckKnickers · 01/10/2020 20:17

I wouldn't want to mess with Tianna's mom. What a bruiser Shock

Mairyhinge · 01/10/2020 20:35

@Deadringer

Is this the look Adam is going for?
It's uncanny 🤣
Roussette · 01/10/2020 20:55

Deffo uncanny

I don't understand how Michael's dad with the hat on has Dev's voice?!

Are the writers messing with our heads?!

SoPanny · 02/10/2020 06:22

I have to say, I’ve got such a soft spot for Ryan Russell ever since he was a presenter on CBeebies and I think he did the scenes in the station well. I’m even fond of Edison even though he’s a Dev Alahan soundalike.

Also weirdly loved the Carla/Adam exchange as well.

Maybe I’m strange or maybe my bar has fallen so low from Emmerdale’s ghastly output of late I’m actually enjoying Corrie a lot atm (except for Fiz).

JamieLeeCurtains · 02/10/2020 09:24

It'll be fun to see Steve, Leanne, Nick, Tracy etc explain to Universal Credit how they gave all their assets and money away to Dr Schnitzel whom they've never met - or will they all just talk in clichés all bloody day like, 'We'll just have to tighten our belts,' and live on fairy dust?

MsMiaWallace · 02/10/2020 10:57

And when they still have other children to support!

eggandonion · 02/10/2020 11:19

Especially since the men involved have unknown children to`support as well as the ones we have currently seen. Maybe Carla can advise them, she is a business woman.

chasingmytail4 · 02/10/2020 11:56

@SoPanny

The dad though is terrible - it’s like in Blackadder 3 when the Prince had acting lessons

Screaming Grin

Just came on to give my weekly update that I’d still bang Peter Barlow and Daniel Osborne, the former has greatest bangability this week at least.

Okay, thanks everyone.

Your update was more entertaining and informative than anything I've watched on Corrie this week .... Wink
Roussette · 02/10/2020 19:44

My DH (who doesn't really watch Corrie except when I cook nice meals and he has to put up with it to eat lol)
says...
'this is very predictable isn't it..'

eggandonion · 02/10/2020 19:51

There should be a thread for people who don't watch corrie but know exactly what is going on.

Iwantacampervan · 02/10/2020 19:52

Who mentioned Gary & Maria - they are back from their (what seems like) year long honeymoon!
