She took the spare key, and rather sensibly a laptop sized tote. I'm not sure why Geoff didn't demand to search it, and make her empty her pockets. Is I'm a Celebrity on soon, maybe the court case will coincide with that bid ITV special!

But did we see her take the laptop? I know she knew about the laptop and that’s why she went. And has she got out of his house yet? He was kind of blocking her exit, wasn’t he? I need to watch the end again, I must have drifted off!

I think she's stuck there until Wednesday. I'm hoping Tim or Faye will come to the door and she will take the laptop home. Then Geoff will realise its missing and be very cross.

Ellenanora I thought your post was spot on. Cathy had a house. Cathy doesn't need any money. And who the hell do they all think they are telling Dev he can't sell his business.

Oh gawd, it look like we're heading for weeks and weeks of a 'Dev under strain' story, tied in with a 'Chesney under strain' story, all mangled together with some horrendous acting and writing.

Mary used to run fancy food things in the caff, didn't she? Maybe she could inherit money, buy the kebab shop and have a tapas bar or something. Dev is annoying when he has a crisis.

I thought they were going to give Dev covid when he was moaning about his terrible headache and feeling ill last Friday (was it Friday?)

And of course we will have to endure The Guilt Of Asha: The Reprise however it plays out.

They’ve obviously been completely written out because Tim told Elaine he didn’t have a brother when she said she’d left her son with Geoff.

I’m expecting Dev to snap and lamp the cheeky wee glipe that’s seeing Asha. I hope he doesn’t as that will be more misery for him but someone bloody needs to.

You have to be careful reading Tim biogs online, because they're getting rewritten so much to fit this Geoff storyline that some 'spoilery' stuff is creeping in.

eggandonion who's spiders son, although you have just reminded that Hayley had a son who turned up at some point, wonder what happened to him.

I can’t bear the “long lost relative” storylines. Soaps seem to be obsessed with them and they’re such a cliche. They never really work either. I’m thinking of Mary’s son, Hayley’s son, etc. Even the “twin swap” storyline with Michelle (Ali could’ve been anyone really).

The whole I be on the breadline without my min wage job is so unrealistic. For a family of 7 (8 with grandma) they not be bringing home any more than being on benefits. It’s not like their rent is very high. Who’s house is it anyway?

Least Des line is realistic about having school fees then suddenly covid and profits down. Though he could be using one of his staff for motor bikes deliveries of chips and shopping.

Just received next week's Radio Times.....back to two episodes a night except for Friday when it is 1hr.
