I’ve just fired up the iPad to check out Medvedev’s skinny ankles and there’s been a power outage

He does always look knackered - as if he can barely drag himself out of his chair never mind hit a ball

I would love him to win it all! It would be such a story- and he might get to wear a Spain shirt at the the next ATP cup, instead of a 'reject' one.

I like how James is still doing "ladies and gentlemen" announcements despite the sparse crowd!!

I guess he could be addressing the TV viewers as well!..

This is the first time I've sat down all day, I was planning on watching but tbh if I'm not asleep in about 10 minutes I'll be impressed.

Yes I've never seen him get mad like that! He seems so mild mannered usually. He did have a decent lead in that tiebreak though...

I did hear some story once about Medevedev calling Rublev "ginger" or something in the locker room and Rublev stormed out in a huff. Stormed back in 10 mins later and shouted, "Well, you look like Nikolay Davydenko!" Medvedev was like, seriously man, it took you 10 minutes to come up with that?!

It's too late really Mama. It's also annoying me that Thiem/Azarenka don't play until late tonight. I suppose I could watch on catch up but it's not the same.

Looks like it was a tight match in the end.
Thiem had the easier draw- not so much the next match- Medvedev and Thiem meet in the semis. I half wish that was the final, really.
Great win for Azarenka, really pleased for her.

I wish that was the final as well. But at this stage I don't mind who wins out of those that are left!

Looks like Azarenka was extremely convincing from that scoreline. That should be a great match v Serena.

Private I don't mind who wins- in a way, 3/4 who are left are the new big 4- I think Tsitsipas is part of that (if he can get more consistent).

It would be a massive turn-up for the books if PCB won. A nice one though- maybe then he would qualify for a proper Spain shirt next time they play the ATP cup (it was him who didn't wear one, wasn't it? Seems ages ago!).

Raahh yes it was PCB who wasn’t allowed to wear the proper Spain T-shirt (I’m sure he was really but he just had a plain red one - didn’t he step in for RBA because his Dad had passed away? ) I think it was November last year - it does seem like a lifetime ago in many ways

At least there are two Mums and not just one but yes I’m sure they’ll keep going on about it.

I think it will be Zverev/Medvedev in the men’s final but yes would be happy to see any of them in the final/winning
