Every time she has been interviewed, about anything recently, she has given such 'doesn't affect me, couldn't care less' answers, she is really making herself unlikeable. Not that I thought much of her before.

I am just looking at some of the matches coming up- the Sinner/Khachanov match might be one that could be a tough one. Sinner is still only 19, but definitely tipped for big things.

My favourite Norwegian Ruud, is due to start his match soon too.

Muguruza started badly, but has settled down now. They were just talking about her loss to Kenin in Melbourne. The Australian Open, and everything surrounding it, really feels a long time ago now.

(I'm still getting my head around my dds going back to school on Friday, after all this time off!).

I know! DS2 is back on Thursday. It seems surreal. At least his shoes arrived today and they fit (phew).

Shoes were my nemesis.

I also need to remember that dd2 has to go in , in her p.e kit. But normal shoes .

DD1 has a timetable now, and has discovered she is not with her friends for most of her lessons. In a way, I am glad. She has done very little over the last few months- it has been stressful though- and probably doesn't need to be distracted.

Oh, Muguruza is through. That's good. Hibino did have a great dress though.

Khachanov has not had to quarantine the luminous yellow shorts from last week, I see- they almost enter the court before him.

It seems strange going back to school for just one or two days at the end of this week after being off for so long - hopefully it will ease them in gently

Mertens is playing really well- she had a great week last week, before losing to Osaka. She could be a dark horse in this tournament.

I always have a bit of a soft spot for Nishioka- he must share a sponsor with Stan, as I remember he was wearing the same style. shorts at RG in 2015 that Stan famously won in. Nishioka's was the first match I watched that year. Sadly, the shorts were not as lucky for him- he lost. .

Fizzy don't talk to me about that Wimbledon rule. It was basically the 'what Djok wants, Djok gets' rule, and had no basis in anything- because it had rarely happened before.

I’ve just switched over to watch Thiem v Munar - Thiem is really rocking the 80s look with his pink shirt and frosted hair!
