It's always baffled me how narrow Coronation Street appears to be!
If there were two cars parked directly opposite each other, on both sides of the street, there wouldn't be enough room for another car to drive between them.
And where do they all park anyway?
Let's imagine it's a Sunday afternoon, and everyone is at home.
On the terraced side, Ken, Emily, Les, Curly, and the Websters all have cars.
On the other side, Ashley's got the butchers van, and Des has his Alfa Romeo.
Where are they all?
I imagine Jack and Vera park their Sierra found the corner in Rosamund Street, and Martin parks in the space in front of the garage attached to their house, outside their front door.
And, speaking of Gail and Martin - they're supposedly a two car family. He had that silver Mazda, but then he bought that navy blue Escort off Curly 'for Gail'! What's happened to that, I wonder?
I've never seen Gail behind the wheel of a car - EVER! 🤔
Doesn't really add up, does it?
