I thought it might have been Billy’s flat but the layout confused me as in Deirdres flat there is a door over to the left of the windows but it’s not there in Billy’s flat as far as I know. Maybe a room fell off and Daniel stuck it onto his flat.

Of all the travel agencies in weatherfield Jon,s wife just happens to go into Deirdre's 🙄

What was the purpose of Jon getting the posh new Saab for the weekend, and then pretending it had been stolen?

Was it just to reinforce Deirdre's belief that he's rolling in money?

I mean, she's already convinced of that, isn't she?

Maybe Jon just fancied swanning around in a nice car for a couple of days... 🤔

Maud's trick with the fish made me chuckle at first - but I'm sad that it's Ashley who's suffering the most from the resulting bad smell 😲☹

I don't really understand the Jon Lindsay storyline ,I know he's a con man ,but why pick Deirdre she's not exactly rolling in it is she 🤔

Does Deirdre have much money in the bank though ? I know she had Samir ,s life insurance but I thought that the £5,000 was the sum total? I know she's the manageress of the travel agency ,but it's a back street agency she can't be earning that much?

I think that MamaMeAh meant Jon had money in the bank, not Deirdre.

But what was the point of test-driving that lovely Saab for the weekend?

I am a bit confused by the Fiona and Alan storyline. She wanted to be with him but then she seemed to change her mind very quickly.

The Alan character was quite intriguing, Are we to believe that she finally saw him for what he was, controlling and a bit racist?

My boss had a car like that, until recently. Deirdre is really stupid just now, Liz must hate her yapping on about her dream kitchen.

Yes Deirdre is incredibly annoying and smug about John.

He was all for patching it up and carrying on with the relationship, but she realised (quite sensibly) that ever time they ever had a disagreement, he would throw the Jim thing back at her and use it to control her. He was very controlling anyway.

I must have missed the party episode first time around, as I really don’t remember Tracy and Blanche visiting.

I missed most of it today and yesterday, but loved Auntie Mabel and Vera fighting over Jack.
It was so much more fun, and so much more melodramatic than it is now.
