Yes they really changed Jim,s character but over the years ,when he first came into the soap ,he was a hot headed ,bloke who drank too much but basically loved his wife and kids ,and they have changed him into a deranged mad man
Tbh Deirdre deserves a spell in the big House so she does ,for being so bloody smug about John!

She was single, wealthy, independent, had her own business, no young children, available, offered it to Kevin on a plate ....... ^Other than that I have no idea

Natalie practically chased Kevin round his house to get her lips on him desperation is so unattractive. How did he not laugh in her face?

I would ask the writers why Nick looks a good 10 years older than Leanne even though in Classic Corrie they're the same age.

Nick supposedly turned 40 at New Year. You’d think a big birthday would get at least some mention in the script... but it was noticeable by its absence. Maybe the writers forgot - or maybe they knew viewers would be choking on their tea saying, ‘40?! And the bloody rest!’

I do like Ben Price, and he’s actually believable as Gail and Brian’s son, but he was always too old for the part. You have to look bloody good to play eight years younger.

Tbh Adam Ricketts hasn't aged that well .

I thought that too! He had to marry Deirdre to stay in the country because he was an illegal immigrant, working cash in hand... but was sending off a monthly cheque to Royal London?

Johnny Briggs used to come into the bar I worked when there was a break in recordings. He was always lovely to everyone

It's because it's posh I think? My Cheshire cousins had their weddings in Hale Barns
I think Deirdre lives over the bookies ? But I'm not sure the Bookies is still in business after Des fell out with his boss over Samantha ?

It is indeed the flat over the bookies (Billy and Summer’s flat in modern day Corrie, with the florist having replaced the bookies).
