The " new " houses only have two bedrooms apparently ?
Perhaps extra bedrooms were added by Sally & Kevin when the downstairs of the house was redesigned and the stairs moved.

Rita & Mavis' friendship has deteriorated at some rate of knots. Considering they're used to working together it seems odd for it to go wrong so quickly

Rita pissed me off tbh I thought she was unecessarily rude ,good for Mavis going for it on here own

Rita was awful over the guest house. Especially telling the owner to cancel one of his paying guests at a moment's notice so she could have a bedroom on her own! Cheeky cow.

Rita needs to stay in the Kabin, Mavis needs to go to the lakes. They were brilliant though.
I'm sad about Fred, and Jim and Fee,and Maud. It's a bit sad just now. As for that Natalie. Trollope.

I love Maud and the Paddington 'hard stare' she keeps giving to Fred!

Rita was a bit of a cow, but I also felt a bit sorry for her. She’s used to being the dominant one in the partnership, and it came as a bit of a shock that Mavis didn’t need her as much as she thought she did/

Ken is educated and well spoken. Shame about his romantic history and parenting skills.
I liked Kevin's dad, he should have stayed.

Yes Ken is a terrible father ,but can always be called on to give a nice speech ,why did they get rid of Maureen I really liked Maureen ,Jon Lindsay's makes a really unbelievable cad ,there ,s just nothing about him .

I was thinking that today! Although I do remember it being said in the press that only Ken and Emily were safe from the axe when Brian Park took over - maybe this was part of an attempt to position him as the ‘elder statesman’ of the street.

I’m catching up on the last few days, but a couple of questions spring to mind:

1. Aren’t most airport shops in Departures? How are Ken and Deirdre popping in and out every five minutes for a squizz at Jon?

2. Not a fortnight ago, Ken was grateful for the offer of a few days covering at The Kabin. Why hasn’t Rita popped across the road and asked if he fancies helping out again for a bit?
