I think she arrives after Tony has his accident ( I,ll say no more) so a few months in their time .

When I first watched the episodes, 26 years ago, I really disliked Gary Mallett.

Now, I damned well fancy the pants off him!

Yes, he's thick as two short planks, but it's blindingly obvious that he loves Judy completely and would never do anything to hurt her.

That is bloody lovely in my opinion.

I like him because he's so gentle and uncomplicated.

He's a big, daft bloke, but he knows instinctively how to be kind and sensitive when he needs to be.

Yes he was very kind with Curly too, I thought the actress that plays Kelly ,acted those scenes where she was upset remarkably well tbh ,even though I'm not a fan of hers usually.

Yes, Denise and Brian came for Daniel, while Ken was round at Deirdre's having 'old times sake' sex

I always miss the important episodes! Poor Daniel, I don't know which parent was worse.

Yes no wonder poor Daniel has issues in present day Corrie with those two as parents!

Lol I thought the same ,I had just qualified as a nurse at this point in 1996 most people didn't even have a mobile phone well none of my friends anyway , I think we would have been mind blown by Facebook etc🤣

I thought the actress playing Kelly was terrible casting. She’s so matronly, she looks more like Ashley’s mother than a teenage girl.

Indeed ,The actor who plays Don is a brilliant actor , to dislike Don's character intensely but he plays him really well

Yes the current actors over play their roles it's to dramatic imo,The actor who plays Don did it really well and convincingly ,regardless of how unpleasant he is ,I loved Jack and Vera today too.

I blame Ivy for Don's issues.

I’m a few days behind, but does anyone else think they were planning an affair between Sally and Mike? There was definitely something in the air between them, and I don’t see what the point of the story was otherwise. We’re about to go into the Brian Park era, and obviously he had other plans for the Websters (not saying what in case anyone is seeing these episodes for the first time!)
