I can't, for the life of me, understand why Martin bought Curly's car 'for Gail'.
I've never seen her drive any car in all of the last forty-odd years!
And where would she go anyway? To the cafe and back?
The Platts aren't exactly flush with money, so two lots of car tax and insurance makes absolutely no sense at all.
Does anyone ever remember seeing Gail driving a car?
