I honestly don’t remember Sam Beckinsale being in it!

Fiona’s singing is terrible

She’d be fine on karaoke, but I’m not convinced even someone as washed-up as Alec would think he could make her a star.

Anyway, it looks like it’s all a plot device to introduce her to Alan.

Yeah she would be ok on karaoke at best ,she's no Leona Lewis!

Alec should have gone with Maxine ,she's no great singer either ,but she's fun and bubbly and at least as good or bad as the spice girls 🤣

Today's episodes where so well acted. The heartbreak was so subtle

I wonder if Sarah Lancashire watches the current Corrie and thinks 'thank fuck I got out'.

I think I read that,she doesn't recognise Corrie anymore or something similar? I have watched a few recent ones and they have really lost there way on Corrie ,to many ridiculous far fetched story lines.

Did any of you watching notice Simon from Horrible Histories and Ghosts in a tiny role on Tuesday? He played a friend of Tracey’s first husband Robert in his first incarnation as a carpet fitter.

Yes I thought 'Raquel' was amazing. She will be missed!

I think if that story where done nowadays it would have been all screaming and shouting. It was just so real, that part where she said "you are a really lovely man".

I missed a few episodes, not many actors go on to succes after soaps, Sarah Lancashire is exceptional. Although my dh would like to see Maxine back.

Did Tracey Shaw ever do anything after Corrie

Racquel’s farewell was heartbreaking I remember it so well. The Mirror got hold of the script the day before and published the entire thing across a two-page spread. That’s how big it was.

The writing in the Tuesday episode was exceptional but that episode was a rare highlight of a lacklustre period in Corrie's history. I don't blame Sarah Lancashire for leaving, she was far too talented to be in it for too long.

Soon we'll be seeing a lot of dead wood characters getting killed or leaving because of the direction the new producer, Brian Park, wanted to take. Can't see the point of Joyce, Des and Andy but I thought Derek was a classic Corrie character and went too soon.

I don't know why they got rid of Andy tbh,he's a better actor imo,than Steve,whose had a 30 year career with mediocre acting ,they should have given him better storyline,s

I liked Andy too, but he needed a lovely girlfriend and happy life. He could have had the franchise for the local Costa or something.

Yes or taught at Weathefield comp maybe?

Or taught a business course in the college where people start but never seem to finish, distracted by a job in the factory, shop, cafe, or being involved in something illegal.
