I thought that Mrs J was about 60.

I am finding Claire's hair very distracting.

Surely the colour isn't natural? And it really does look (to me) as though it's made of nylon.

Is it a wig? It must be!

I wonder if there are more redheads in the weatherfield area than elsewhere?
I have boring mousey hair.

It is - she had very cropped, platinum blonde hair in real life.

Liz's hair is natural, I think. And Fiona's and Deirdre's. I know Raquel's is a wig aswell.

Sarah Lancashire wore a wig for years, but her ‘current’ look as Racquel is her real hair.

If I remember correctly, they did, to make her look more ‘motherly’. (She was on the Jack Docherty Show, which is how I know all this, because he was asking her how come her real hair was so different.) She does eventually switch to her real hair; it’s written into the script.

I've been on Liz's side all the way through and I think the way everyone brushed Jim assaulting her under the carpet is deplorable, but I'm afraid I can't get on board with her going after Jim's mum's legacy, which he received after they split.

Also why is Kelly suddenly so awful? She was lovely and she's turned into a shrieking banshee!

Yes ,I'm annoyed about Liz demanding half of Jim's inheritance ,she wouldn't even go to his mum's funeral,Kelly,s a terrible character ,very immature ,and her and Ashley look very odd together as a couple .

I think that Kelly would go for an older guy.

I suppose she was just a means of giving the Ashley character more prominence, he’d only been in scenes with Fred before.

Poor Curly. It was inevitable that Raquel would end up with itchy feet. He always knew, deep down.

I used to think "poor Curly" back in the day, but now I just see how he hates that she's confident and self-assured. But then she's never actually loved him, has she.

No she hasn't she did him a favour really ,it was a shame but they should never have got married

Ashley and Kelly were terrible actors, I always feel like I’m watching a bad am-dram play when they are on. You can almost see them reading the script in their heads.

Fiona’s singing is terrible

I think Ashley is doing quite well - he's obviously there to bring a bit of comedy to the show.

He reminds me of my brothers when they first started 'bothering' with girls!

Total excruciating embarrassment when any mention of S E X was mentioned!

I think he knows it's comedy, and is acting it out really well.

Bothering with girls is a bit of a Northern turn of phrase.
