I have had quite a bit of the Aldi Fake Pimms this week, won't be as nice when it's raining.

Jane it's odd, isn't it? The Euros (football) should have been happening around now too.

So many things have just one pfft in a short space of time. And at the same time, we have accepted it.

Yes Fizzy he was on X Factor in a group called Rak-Su which was "affectionately" known as Rat Soup on the X Factor thread.

Just watching the Best of Andy show. He was really sweet in his speech when he lost to Fed in 2012 final, made the crowds cry too.

Now they're showing the Olympics when he wins against Fed - sweet sweet revenge 🥇

I haven’t watched the Andy programme yet JaneR - will hopefully catch it up tomorrow. I am also in telly competition with DH and DS1 watching Tour de France Recycled - apparently this is ok but watching Wimbledon Rewind is not

Watching Andy’s speech when he lost to Roger has just made me cry

Shamefully I’ve never seen him play in the London Olympics - I think we were on holiday in Turkey at the time and the local tv was only showing Turkish weight lifting!

How I long to be in Turkey - got a flight booked there for September, but don't think we'll be going. First year since 2002 that I won't have been.

Rained all day here today & have watched both the Andy & the Wimbledon programme. Hate to say but I am getting a bit bored of rewinds now & would like some live action...........

We went to Side magi - it was lovely but very hot!

We’ve also been to Cesme on the Aegean coast which was a bit cooler - hopefully you’ll be able to get away In September but it’s all a bit up in the air at the minute isn’t it?

Recorded the Murray programme and just watched the first bit back to the end of the 2012 Olympics. We went to the first day of the tennis. Just reminiscing - DS was 8 years old and the first tennis match he goes to watch is the Olympics, Centre Court, with morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and anything else you wanted in the Centre Court dining area (because the only tickets left we could get were hospitality and we thought...sod it, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity!) Sat virtually opposite the player's box, where Michelle Obama was sitting with Venus to watch Serena. DS was warned not to get accustomed to this heady way of life

Fizzy there is no way I'm going to a pub any time soon! Not when there's copious amounts of Covid-free alcohol in the house

Fizzy At the moment you are obliged to wear a mask at all times when outside In Turkey - even on the beach! Fine of about £130 if not. And people over the age of 65 have a curfew from 8pm to 10am. Not my idea of a holiday!! (Let alone the thought of flying).

kazza that sounds like a good time at the Olympics - I prefer my alcohol corona free too!

I've recorded the Andy programme but not actually watched it yet. Hopefully this afternoon.

We ventured out yesterday - although not to the pub, but to see my DM and DDad, was lovely to see them.

Ah the Olympics - that sounds fab kazza. Those were the days.

Morning! I lost yesterday to a migraine and spent most of it in bed. Feeling a bit better this morning but totally drained.

I would love to see some proper tennis now. But can't believe it would be a week into the real thing already!

Magi We also saw Wozniacki (because Rory McIlroy was watching her), Heather Watson maybe, and Federer, although I have to say, I'd forgotten about him and DS and DH have just had to remind me It was a fantastic day! Oh, how the half live....

I had a headache yesterday but not a bad one by my standards, so I can only sympathise Raahh. My dear old mum had migraines all her life and was often bedridden by them, so I know how bad it can get. Hope that you're feeling better now

Bet it was nice to see your Mum and Dad Spidey. I went inside my DM’s house for the first time in months yesterday - it felt a bit strange.

There’s a programme about Arthur Ashe on BBC this afternoon after the Andy programme at 4.05pm. It’s a repeat but don’t think I’ve seen it before.

I’ve got to wear a mask for my hairdressers appointment - bit worried about the sweatiness and feeling claustrophobic.

I know what you mean about the replays everyone. I do enjoy them but it just has that feeling of "making the best of things" - I'm glad they're on but it makes me feel a bit sad as well.

I'll have to watch later. F1 is on

Just watching the second Andy programme, the gold medal match in Rio. Delpo is playing brilliantly, especially considering it's one of his first tournaments back.
