I have had quite a bit of the Aldi Fake Pimms this week, won't be as nice when it's raining.

Dan Evans has just won on a tiebreak - maybe he’ll be allowed the non-squeaky bench now that Andy is out!

And, I'm sorry, but I can't really warm to Kyle. I know he's shy and he's just there to entertain with his tennis, not his personality, but he's got all the charisma of a plank of wood

Although at least he's not been shoehorned into a disastrous multi coloured /patterned Nike kit

Poor Kyle . He does seem to have the personality of the ....bench.

But yes, I am sure he is glad to have avoided whatever monstrosity Nike had planned for the summer season .

He'd be Norrie's quiet bench though.
The squeaky one would be too loud

And Nike seemed to be going with stripes, this Spring/Summer. Not quite as garish as the squares/ splodges in Melbourne. And no bees or skeletons in sight.

I feel quite nostalgic for the skeleton kit, actually.

me too! I don't mind the stripes though. They're quite 80s but I quite like that.

Football. Dh is watching football on the tv (we only have the one). I took the dog out in the rain again, and I'd forgotten about it, til I got back.

It seems to have been on every night since it returned!

We've just been playing Cluedo. It was some new-fangled version with a spa and a patio instead of the traditional rooms!!

I still didn't win though

The only game worse than Cluedo is Risk!

I bought Cluedo last Christmas as our 'family boardgame'- I am really bad at it. Even 9 year old dd2 is better .

The new rooms sound interesting

I like the idea of a body under a patio though.

Maybe I like that idea a little too much.

maybe the people who made the new version of Cluedo were Mumsnetters. We’ve got Simpsons Cluedo but it usually raises tensions in our house so we haven’t played it for a while!

I need to start walking again - I didn’t go for my usual walk last week as it was so hot so need to get back into it - I’m feeling quite sloth like.

The football team that DH and the DSs support are on Sky this lunchtime so I might go then although the weather is looking a bit dodgy. I’ve definitely not missed the football!

Not sure if I can muster much enthusiasm for watching Kyle v Dan later.

I used to love Cluedo!

I'll watch the final later. I see that Andy has pulled out of the 3rd place play off match against Norrie but he'll be the on court coach for Ward, who's stepped in as replacement.

Ah has he? Probably an intense few days match-wise. He doesn't look far off being back to his old self though, does he?

I'll probably try and watch as well. We were supposed to be going to the park later but it keeps raining

It keeps raining here as well Spidey - I think Andy should be fairly happy with how he’s played this week. I think he’s planning to play in Washington and the US Open all being well.

There’s a review of last year’s Wimbledon on at 12.05pm on BBC2 today - not sure if I really want to relive that final but might be worth a watch.

That final last year was not great I don't think? It was dramatic in that fifth set but it wasn't a great match iirc? Although I've not seen any of it again since to be fair. I still can't believe Federer didn't win it tbh.

Am sure the Rafa-Kyrgios match will feature
