I have had quite a bit of the Aldi Fake Pimms this week, won't be as nice when it's raining.

They have thankfully moved on from that now. But I was getting a bit annoyed with Heather- I felt she didn't want to blow her own trumpet, and Sue tried to big her up- but she wasn't playing ball. I know players will find fault with their performances, but she really did push Serena that day, and deserves the credit.

I had forgotten this match - Sam Smith, Conchita Martinez, 98. I sometimes forget Sam actually played tennis, and isn't just a commentator.

It was a good win for Sam.

Connors against Pernfors on Monday- I have such memories of that! As comebacks go- that is one of the big ones.

Connors was losing 1-6 1-6 1-4 ?

And won the match.

I remember that Connors match. Yes it was something like that scoreline Raahh when the comeback began!!

It reminds me of the Rafa comeback against Medvedev at the tour finals - I know that wasn't 5 sets, but even so, being down 1-5 in the 3rd set, and still winning the match, it's living life on the edge.

Oh yes - that was a good comeback.

Does Medvedev not really do social media?? I feel like I haven't heard anything of him for ages.

Just watching Heather's match now. DH and I were on No2 Court and were score watching this match. The cheers from Centre Court rang out the whole length of Wimbledon whenever Heather won a point. I think Venus was the match on our court but I can't really remember

I think Heather must be cycling home tonight. No other reason for wearing a jacket that bright

Spidey funny you should say that about Daniil, he doesn't appear to have had much presence through all this- most of the other players have. I hope he is ok. And his family.

I do feel sorry for the younger players, who were finally starting to make a bit of progress against the Big 3. This situation must be really frustrating.

I did laugh on when Tim asked Sue where the rest of her dress was.

I am sad about Olympics, because it means we will be robbed of the lovely Michael Johnson. I can listen to him all day.
