I have had quite a bit of the Aldi Fake Pimms this week, won't be as nice when it's raining.

I need to stop watching these programmes - they keep making me cry . I also listened to the podcast about Jane Novotna which also made me cry - so sad that she’s no longer with us. Don’t feel emotionally strong enough to watch the Arthur Ashe programme yet.

I haven't listened to the Pod on Jana yet Fizzy. I will though, it am sure it will be a sad one . Loved watching her play.

I know what you mean though, I think they all have been a bit emotional tbh. Just looking back at these huge moments in people's lives, and how things turned out, whether they went on to have loads of success or not etc, it's a bit melancholy at times.

I like Chrissie's dress, the pastel stripes are very nice.

I hate the way they are calling them "Mrs Cawley" and "Mrs Lloyd"

I know it's only quite recently they've stopped that at Wimbledon but it sounds so patronising now.

Evonne G-C was a lovely player to watch wasn't she? I love Chrissie as well though. And I like Ann's commentary (it is Ann Jones isn't it? - she sounds just the same now).

Is it Borg-Mac next? I've only seen that about 100 times

Evonne is my mum's favourite player to watch- she just rang me to check I was watching .

It's the fact the score board has the husband's initials against their name that gets me. I know that was once 'the way' , but it still grates a liitle.

(used to be on all the time, during rain delays!)

Yes with that little tennis ball graphic in the corner with an R on it to show it was a replay! Arghhh!!

Well I agree with your mum about Evonne Raahh. She moves so well and she looks like she has a fair bit of power - as does Chrissie to be fair.

John Lloyd's hair was awful. I know this was 1980- but it is like a bowl cut gown wrong.

How times have changed- even if they had coke on display, I doubt any of the players would drink it. Even Kyrgios.
