We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Just heard CJ's voice there in the flashback...oooh...er...miss CJ!

So, Prof behaves in a sensible and professional manner and Throbber acts like a thick idiot. He is not very likeable at this point.

Nice to hear how much Fingers has grown up since that first tour in Afghanistan.

Gosh Mimi is lippy with a senior officer.

Dr Antonio is definitely the eye candy in this series, a bit flippant maybe but definitely easy on the eye.

Monk is not happy being an Uber driver - yes, I am behind.

Oh I love that line about "cultural insensitivities" and then we hear Throbber - how did he pass the IQ test? is there one?

Now here is the real candy, not just the eye variety...yummy...although Hershey bars are really quite yucky!

He’s certainly an improvement on Dr Dull-and-boring.

There must be some sort of initial test or interview I am sure of it.

Mimi is mini Molly in this series.

Gosh Georgie is off on one again and being really lippy/insubordinate with her senior officer. He needs to put her in her place.

Hershey bars are not like our chocolate. I've only had one or two but they're not a patch on our own brands.

Throbber thinks he's going to do the endurance test - love the way Fingers keeps a low profile.

Poor Throbber, I don't think he's impressed with the Afghan version of the "finger buffet".

Meanwhile, Prof is keeping going in the endurance race.

Yeah - he had serious potential.

Fingers with his stomach of iron, can eat anything, but Throbber is not impressed by the food on offer. Reminds me of Bluestone 42 when they have to go for a meal with the local elders. I think I'm going to watch that again.

Love the way Dr Bahir sees through Georgie's attempts to empathise and win her over.

Ouch, that was a low blow from Hurst.

Yes, it was unkind, but then Georgie shows him little respect. Georgie sounds like CJ in the last series now.
