We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

I agree Rhu. As we watched this the first time round, I started to think that TG had actually taken notice of all our comments and how related to series 1.

Yes, it was much less of a single story with hangers-on. There was remarkably little development of the Fingers / Marie romance between Georgie getting back from Kenya in series 2 and the wedding at the beginning of this episode.

Prof just can't going back to his roots - and we get the obligatory local history lesson.
