I thought I might as well start it. As then I won't have to go searching for the new thread.

Ah I shall miss you all

HMSSophie · 24/06/2020 21:59

Ah I did enjoy that, and all your company. Cheers all

Roussette · 24/06/2020 21:59

Awwww that was so lovely

Haggisfish · 24/06/2020 22:00

Oh congratulations hazel! Love the updates.

Roussette · 24/06/2020 22:00

Thanks for the company everyone, I always got excited every Wednesday when I woke up, thinking YAY Sewing Bee tonight!

CaptainMyCaptain · 24/06/2020 22:00

I'm really going to miss this. Until next year then!

Studycast · 24/06/2020 22:01

Bravo Clare, a well deserved win, and what an accomplished person she is.

Poshjock · 24/06/2020 22:01

I'm so chuffed that Matt is working in theatre.

I can imagine that Clare has been very busy, being a lung specialist!

So sad it's all over. I love my little sewing bee hour.

Kitsandkids · 24/06/2020 22:02

I always love the updates. I felt a bit tearful at the end of them!

Roussette · 24/06/2020 22:03

I did too!

Bouledeneige · 24/06/2020 22:03

I loved that and felt quite emotional with what they're doing now. Well done Clare - she's been doing something very important.

Binglebong · 24/06/2020 22:03

Bit of a different what they've been doing this year. Sad

Binglebong · 24/06/2020 22:04

Really please. Did I hear correctly that she said to her mum "I won a prize!"?

SilkandSandwiches · 24/06/2020 22:05

I think Matt will suit theatre so well

Binglebong · 24/06/2020 22:05

Interesting Claire's dress was the only one where they pointed out a fault.

I'm adopting Claire's mum.

StCharlotte · 24/06/2020 22:07
@binglebong There's a video on you tube of him getting ready for that event, it's Christopher Kane's Burns Supper.

Also found this gem the soup isn't the only thing getting hot and spicy.
"A little bit of fingers good"

Fnar!

Right. Back to the Sewing Bee...

Binglebong · 24/06/2020 22:07

BIG praise from Liz - not her usual style at all.

There is a guy, can't remember his name, who wears strange dresses on the red carpet. Not drag, just expanding what men wear. I could see Matt designing for him and doing very well.

MsMarvellous · 24/06/2020 22:09

Very pleased Claire won although would also have been happy with Nicole.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 24/06/2020 22:11

Delighted for Claire. A well deserved win. I may have been a little teary at the updates.

Egghead68 · 24/06/2020 22:14

Lovely final and good outcome.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 24/06/2020 22:14

Nicole's dress was fabulous. I didn't like Claire's at all. Too boring and odd on the bust. (Looked slightly better on the dummy)

I loved Matt's but would've preferred to see it on a women's body to see if he could get it to fit properly. But what the hell was that thing he made for carnival?!

5foot5 · 24/06/2020 22:16

I'm sorry, but Matt's is just hideous. It's something that belongs in a strip club not the red carper

I disagree. I think Matt's gown is absolutely fab and the most red carpet of the lot.

Having said that I am delighted Clare won. She has been my favourite from the start

MonsteraCheeseplant · 24/06/2020 22:23

Of course it was Claire, the best woman won. Do you think she irritates her own mum a little bit for being so darn good at everything? Grin
