Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

SleepingStandingUp what I meant was they may have planned to film another couple of episodes but couldn't because of lockdown.

That's no excuse for get her dead before the wedding tho, that's just nastiness to poor S, unfair on our F and crummy for her friends. I'm still angry lol but yes possibly cut the Frankie coming back, big goodbye to Isla etc

What's of more concern to me is the fact that the sheets on the bed in the on-call room don't appear to get changed in between users - whoever's next on call will be enjoying the aftermath of Cam/Nikki's tryst! Yuk.

I can see Cam using the loan to pressure Nikki into continuing having sex with him. Or is that a bit dark for the BBC at 8pm?

I think he is pre-op. It will make a really good storyline to see how Nikki copes with it. I think she will be really open minded about it all too.

I have grown fond of Louis very quickly. He is a very good egg and Nicki deserves some happiness.

I really disliked him when he was introduced with how he expected Max to accept him immediately (although she certainly isn't blame free). However, yes, he's grown on me and seems really nice.

I do think they are setting him and Nikki up for a big reveal storyline. I think she will be open minded but not want a relationship beyond good friends.

Wow, caught up with the last two episodes - I think there must have been some re-editing to both wrap things up and also set up that final cliffhanger before the break. There was so much content in that last episode!

I'm going to go against the grain re Essie - I don't think they needed to actually get married, they had sorted things out and we're both in a really happy place. She was peaceful, radiant and on her way to marry her soulmate, and she just slipped away without any agonising deathbed farewells. I don't know enough about it to know if it was even halfway to being realistic (I know, it's Holby ) I'm hoping Essie has left Sacha a letter or something telling him to move on and find happiness with someone else, I think he'd need that. Also hope he doesn't try to hold onto Isla.

The bit that got me was him scuppering Chloe's date by reminding her how dangerous some men can be. He makes me so uncomfortable, it's great acting

And how much of a cow was Nage over the whole "so would you have got married" thing. I thought she was hunting at them getting married or something but when he said about if he found the right person (Jac) she was so sneery. I really want her to go and find Captain Jack and leave with him

I wish I could say I like Fletch and Ange. It would be nice to have one normal relationship that lasts a bit longer on Holby. I think it's time for Ange to move on though.
