Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

Back to the original incarnation of Dom (remember when he lied in court to try to get Malick struck off?). How has Ang not got in trouble with Hanssen for lying and saying there was no stoma reversal only for Sacha to then throw himself under the bus by saying there was and that it was all him? All still to be investigated, I suppose. Is it me or did it all feel a bit rushed though? Maybe it’s because the episodes are still 45mins rather than an hour.

spiderlight · 26/05/2021 08:38

I hate what they've done to Dominic. Poor Sasha - risked his own career to do the op and now the little shit has throw it back in his face :(

Gladimnotcampinginthisweather · 26/05/2021 09:47

And where is Carol?

spiderlight · 26/05/2021 10:21

I was thinking that!! Carol would sort him out in no time.

SleepingStandingUp · 26/05/2021 13:07

I'm assuming Carol actress isn't as to work die to covid

SleepingStandingUp · 26/05/2021 13:40

Catching up.

You little shit. You absolute shit.

SunnyAgain · 26/05/2021 17:21

I really didn’t see this twist coming with Dom. It was a quite a shocking turn of events! I also thought back to his behaviour in the Malik days.

SleepingStandingUp · 26/05/2021 17:56

He really is odious ATM, and agree surely Ange is also struck off pending investigation for her involvement and lying about it and operating on her child (and having sex with her daughter's new crush).

I didn't get why Ange left just cos her alarm had gone off leaving her FWB and daughter to get drunk together

Riddo · 26/05/2021 21:40

I'm so disappointed in Dom, he's reverted to his old ways. Why didn't Sacha stand up for himself?

MyOtherProfile · 28/05/2021 05:49

Finally caught up last night. Can't believe nobody defended Sasha at the end. And Dom got promotion out of it?

blobblob · 28/05/2021 20:56

I know - it's getting a bit wearing. And doesn't Sasha have a car or enough money for a taxi?? Why was he standing at the bus stop with his cardboard box?

Why didn't Henrik have a proper investigation? No union rep, no disciplinary procedure, and promotion without an interview for Dom.
I miss the old days of slow burning storylines with real complexity behind them and episodes peppered with energetic drama.

And as for the patients - they are all completely unbelievable.
Yet still I watch.... Confused

ThornAmongstRoses · 29/05/2021 08:47

Just caught up.

What a vile, vile person Dom is Sad

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 29/05/2021 12:45

Dom has well and truly gone over to the dark side. Grim.

spiderlight · 02/06/2021 12:30

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 02/06/2021 12:52

Just saw that on the BBC news website. It seems an odd decision!

SophieB100 · 02/06/2021 12:58

Oh no.
I love moaning about Holby!

What an odd decision - I suppose it's running towards its end.

Gladimnotcampinginthisweather · 02/06/2021 13:18

They are probably going to try something to appeal to younger viewers (who allegedly don't watch terrestrial television anyway).

SleepingStandingUp · 02/06/2021 13:42

I wonder if any actors will get jobs in Casualty?

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 02/06/2021 13:52

I've only really watched during the last couple of years but even I can see how daft some of the story lines were becoming and wondered what was going on.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 02/06/2021 14:40

That's a pity but possibly not before time? Let's hope Casualty isn't going to go the same way too.

Gladimnotcampinginthisweather · 02/06/2021 15:59

Doctors will be next. Sad

NowWeAreSuckingDieselFella · 02/06/2021 17:05

Me on Tuesday night: oh my god this is utter crap, I think I'll stop watching it

Me on Wednesday afternoon: waahhhhhhh they can't cancel Holby

HmmWinkGrin

newnortherner111 · 02/06/2021 17:27

The BBC has a track record of keeping shows well past their sell by date, and this has been one.

Hope Call the Midwife goes, Casualty, Eastenders (or perhaps just to once a week), Death in Paradise, and that Mrs Browns Boys not only goes but is never shown on any tv channel ever again.

Optimist1 · 02/06/2021 17:31

Personally I'd rather they stopped Casualty rather than Holby.
