Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

It used to be one of the few programmes I watched live every week, now I catch up at some point, sometimes not even the same week. It has taken a real nosedive.

@Wincarnis - he was putting a dressing on a wound on his abdomen - presumably another self-harm incident after the letter saying that investigations against Reyhan Shah had been dropped.

Just catching up now. Jeong is fab.

Dom has become an awful character, and God knows what is going on in the Lucky-Kian-Andre triangle.

I actually miss the days of Cam/Chloe/Nicky. It was dark but also quite exciting. Now it’s just miserable.

The Henrik scenes were raw and well done.

The Max is somehow allowed back, Kian’s antics continue and Dom is a selfish little git stuff is all a bit wearing.

I was so happy to see Jason today - and his Auntie Serena shout-out! I’ve always loved his character.

Dom is being even more selfish and odious now than in his original incarnation. Lucky was lovely with Henrik. And Guy Henry, as usual, absolutely smashed it.

Is it just me or does Sacha seemed to have suddenly aged a decade? And how can Max waltz back onto the wards after being convicted of stealing from the hospital? (Oh wait - Holby’s infamous magic HR department must have struck again.)

Henrik was great - and I don’t know if we are supposed to be warming towards to that F1 (the one who stitched the wound) due to his care and concern for HH, but it’s not working for me. I just can’t take to him.

The Max thing is just ridiculous!

And I agree with the poster who commented on Sacha having aged a decade!!

I wasn’t particularly impressed with the episode to be honest, it just felt a bit lazy and it’s gotten too silly to be believable now. I used to LOVE Holby but over the last few weeks my passion for it has been starting to dwindle.....

Always had a soft spot for Dom - oh well, that'll teach me! Poor Sasha, slinking out with his cardboard box. (Why do they always leave with a cardboard box?)
Holby needs Jac Naylor like a rootbound plant needs repotting - she'd sort dastardly Dom out before the end of the opening credits.
