Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

The HH abuse story line is the first one I've cared about for ages. First time in so long I've actually looked forward to the next episode to see what happens.

I'm hoping it isn't just "he did this, I don't believe you, I didn't, you did, ok I believe you, I admit it I was weak" and then kinda forgotten. He'll agree to the residential home, avoid trial etc and carry on.

I'd like it to blow up at least in the background and HH's strength to enable other boys to come forward and get a conviction.

Who shagged who in a cupboard? I watched the episode after an afternoon of fizz in the park and don't remember any cupboard shenanigans.

I hope Nikki comes back eventually. Belinda Owosu's Twitter post says 'Bye for now' so Louis might get his second chance (also why is it always implied tthat once a character has left the hospital, they can never see any of their former colleagues again?)

Henrik.... Guy Henry is an extraordinary actor - I could see the hurt, lost 14-year-old in his face when he was telling the police what had happened. I have a 14-year-old myself, and I don't know what I'd do if anyone laid a finger on him like that.
