Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

Remember how supportive Henrik was of Dom when he was in an abusive relationship with whatshisname (Isaac??)?

Henrik could do with some of that support himself now but Dom has always been about Dom first and foremost.

Jeong-soo is Korean. And I wish they'd get the pronunciation of his name down. Some people call him Jong (close enough, eo makes an "uh" sound) but Josh calls him Joong and I can't work out if it's poor direction or the character not caring. Jeong-soo himself doesn't seem bothered I suppose but it's pretty rude.

Do you remember Sahira (sp?). She came back in as head of Cardio, her and HH still close. Her Dad came in, he used to be HH's teacher. He's been accused by a current student of sexual abuse and S's ex won't let the kids see Grandad cos of it. Turns out he also abused HH, basically taking him on like one the the family, grooming him and then raping him. Having to operate and finding out there's been others has tipped HH over the edge and he told S. She didn't believe him but I think she's starting to put 1+1 together. He's now made a formal police statement.

@unvillage they do the same with Kian's name too, almost everyone pronounces it differently. It's distracting.

I’ve watched 15 episodes of HC back-to-back since last night to catch up on a HUGE backlog.

I thought Cameron’s showdown was rubbish....I was expecting an explosive episode where everything came to light and I was so disappointed in his last episode. Such a let down.

Yes, they had a very vague sort of splitting-up conversation in a corridor a month or so back and went their separate ways. It was literally just sort of F: 'So when did you realise you didn't love me any more?' A: 'Um, dunno really...' F: 'Oh well, never mind, eh?'

Yes! And presumably the Trust wouldn't be liable for any damages Dom claimed afterwards, as it's being done on the quiet. Would that mean that Sacha would be personally liable (and presumably out of a job)? Dom's already shown himself to be spiteful and litigious.

Yeah the Fletch and Ange thing was in the speedy catch ups. Tied into the wedding and Essie dying.

So assuming it worked (ha!!) would he pretend to have a stoma or pretend he had it in Germany? Does anyone medical know what happens if it fails (when it fails?).
I know when they were threatening a stoma for DS it was always a short term plan, OTOH MIL has one forever so would it just mean he goes back to having a stoma or something worse

I suspect, from what was said after they had to take him back into surgery the last time, that if it fails, he won't have enough bowel left to do a new stoma and will have to go on parenteral nutrition, which is basically where you're fed intravenously.

I think he called her 'mum' as a way to manipulate her. No idea where Carol is though - she should be all over this!

Why is Lucky still there when there was a whole storyline about a collection for a leaving present for her a few weeks back? Has she decided to stay because she and Max made up? She's on thin ice supporting Kian if she knows he's been operating on drugs and faking his tests.

Max found funding for Lucky's post to be permanent, I think.

Do we know how much Dom was awarded in damages against the hospital yet?

Yeah Dom is a dick a d 6 figures is all we know.

All a bit far-fetched this week (even more than usual) with Max taking the blame and Louis not bothering to set the police straight.

Plus after he did the operation which got the hospital sued there is no way Sacha would risk this op, even if he does feel guilty.

How long before Kian and Lucky end up in the laundry cupboard?!
