I enjoyed:

Gilmore Girls
Pretty Little Liars
Gossip Girl
Vampire Diaries
Never Have I Ever
Katie & Alexa

Started watching Riverdale but don’t love it yet so not sure whether I’ll continue.

I also loved Greys Anatomy, Revenge, Westworld, Game of Thrones and Homeland but I do love a good teen drama.

Grateful for any recommendations Smile

Jane the virgin

Loved this

Reign. It’s brilliantly inaccurate historical teen drama.

Sounds perfect Grin

Some girls which was on bbc3, it’s a comedy from a few years ago, it’s very funny!
Derry girls on 4od

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 05/05/2020 10:19

Pose is good too, looks at the drag culture in the 80s.
Season 1 is on Netflix, 1 and 2 are on BBC Iplayer.

Wanderlust21 · 05/05/2020 13:35

Oh yes Reign was good!

Just been watching Merlin again on netflix. Not teeny exactly but similar to some of the other suggestions.

And I Zombie is good too!

BunnytheBee · 05/05/2020 14:46

I used to watch I Zombie and then lost interest for some reason.

Same actually! Just started watching it again though.

Ninkanink · 05/05/2020 14:51

Try some K drama. Especially the older ones.

Wanderlust21 · 05/05/2020 14:53

Kdrama is awesome. I think 'secret garden' might be in Netflix. It's a body swap one and my all time fave :)

Bloomburger · 05/05/2020 14:58

Schitts Creak is hilarious, there's 5 series out now on Netflix and a new one starts in a couple of weeks.

BunnytheBee · 05/05/2020 15:42

What is K drama?

Korean drama?

I absolutely love Schitt’s Creek but didn’t realise I knew series is coming out! 🥳

Crazy Ex Girlfirld is great too. Not teen exactly.

Good Place was ok. Kimmy Schmitt and Grace & Frankie ok.

Station 19 (side series to Greys)
Amsterdam
Chesapeake Shores
Virgin River
Heartland
The Night Shift

BunnytheBee · 05/05/2020 16:04

Station 19 (side series to Greys) I like this but fell behind and only the current season is on Sky.

Amsterdam haven’t heard of this but will look it up given all the others in this list are spot on!

Chesapeake Shores I like this but have only watched a few episodes.

Virgin River love

Heartland on my list

The Night Shift on my list

Atypical on Netflix
Sorry if it's been mentioned I've not rtft!
It's about a teenage boy living with asd. Funny and heartbreaking and often heart warming. I binged 3 seasons in 2 days

Italianmeringuebuttercream · 05/05/2020 16:13

My so called life and party of 5 were my favourite when I was young! I'm definitely going to rewatch! Jared Leto was my teenage crush!

CatToddlerUprising · 05/05/2020 18:01

@BunnytheBee- season 1 and 2 of Station 19 is on Prime (included in the subscription)

Wanderlust21 · 05/05/2020 20:06

Yeh korean drama. I discovered it in my uni years and have been hooked since. I think I'd rather give up chocolate if it came down to it xD

RunningNinja79 · 05/05/2020 20:19

I was beaten to heartland. Love that show.

You've seen most of the programs I really enjoyed.

I loved Chesapeake Shores.

I was recommended (well not me personally, but on another thread on MN) This is Us. Its on Amazon Prime though. I've watched the first two episodes so far. It's quite good. Although I wish I hadn't googled it because it spoilt the end of the first episode for me (there was a twist)

Good Girls is good on Netflix and Insatiable was OK too.

The only issue I have with Pretty Little Liars is the last episode with that accent (if you know, you know). It kind of ruined the whole thing, but oh well.

Might look at Schitts Creak, Atypicak and Never have I ever myself

RunningNinja79 · 05/05/2020 20:20

Sorry Atypical with an L not a K.

BunnytheBee · 05/05/2020 20:39

I loved this is us. I don’t currently have amazon but I will probably get it or trial it at some point.

I wouldn’t watch pretty little liars again but I enjoyed it.

Good Girls and Insatiable look ok.

Definitely look up Schitts Creek and Never Have I Ever Grin

I just watched 'Hollywood'. It was awesome.

MoFoFlo · 07/05/2020 00:14

Love a teen drama. Currently forcing 13yo DD to watch Gossip Girl with me.

Scream Queens is well worth a watch. Very camp.

Loved My So Called Life, but don't think it's available to stream anywhere. I so identified with Angela's angst (and lust for Jordan Catalano)

BunnytheBee · 07/05/2020 08:57

I was wondering about that. I love Jim Parsons!

I would watch it again if I could find it.

I persevered with Riverdale and I‘m enjoying it now. Still not a fan of Veronica.

If you are 35 and you missed Veronica Mars first time around in 2004-7, then you need to see it now.

Greatest Teen series evah.
