I enjoyed:

Gilmore Girls
Pretty Little Liars
Gossip Girl
Vampire Diaries
Never Have I Ever
Katie & Alexa

Started watching Riverdale but don’t love it yet so not sure whether I’ll continue.

I also loved Greys Anatomy, Revenge, Westworld, Game of Thrones and Homeland but I do love a good teen drama.

Grateful for any recommendations Smile

The OC. One of my favourites. I'm watching Gossip Girl again just now.
I also didn't like Riverdale very much, I kept getting the characters mixed up. They all looked the same.

Wrongdissection · 03/05/2020 22:18

The OC
One Tree Hill

Worthy of the Amazon subscription alone.

Wrongdissection · 03/05/2020 22:19

And I hear ya. I LOVE a teen drama.

Sex Education is also brilliant.

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 03/05/2020 22:22

I'm finding I'm watching more on Prime at the minute than Netflix for the tv & music it's worth the subscription fee

HoyaFlower · 03/05/2020 22:24

Normal People

Timefor45 · 03/05/2020 22:24

The Bold Type
Switched at Birth

I love Gilmore Girls, Switched at Birth has that feel for sure. The Bold Type more SATC/Ally McBeal territory.

BunnytheBee · 03/05/2020 22:26

I’m tempted by Outerbanks and also Locke & Key

Where is Euphoria available?

I don’t think the Riverdale characters look alike. I just think the acting is not that great, the story isn’t as compelling as, say, Pretty Little Liars. It’s far fetched but not in the watchable way some of the other shows are. I’m on season 2 now and enjoying it a bit more but don’t love it.

I didn’t realise Prime included access to music and books 🤔

I’ve wanted to watch Switched at Birth bit it’s not on Netflix or Sky. Bold Type isn’t either but sounds good

Normal people is on my list.

Normal People on iPlayer!

Wrongdissection · 03/05/2020 22:29

Where can you watch switched at birth? I watched the first couple of seasons a while back when I was accessing USA Netflix through a VPN and loved it.

BunnytheBee · 03/05/2020 22:32

Normal People on iPlayer!

Yes. Thanks! I’ve enjoyed a few BBC ones recently. The Split was good and so was the Nest.

Sorry, yes both Switched At Birth and Bold Type through Amazon- worth it for both though.

Oliversmumsarmy · 03/05/2020 22:35

I used to know someone from the area that the UK version of Shameless is set and been to the area and been to her local

I have tried to watch the US version but can’t.
The whole premise of the show just isn’t there.
Everyone is too good looking with pwrfect teeth.

Treescaper · 03/05/2020 22:35

Yes agree with Normal people that is good. I also plan to watch ‘I’m not okay with this’ after Outerbanks

PenguinIce · 03/05/2020 22:38

Definitely One Tree Hill!

MyfanwyMontez · 03/05/2020 22:38

Locke and Key is really good. Starts off a bit slow but in the end I binge watched. It’s quite spooky and supernatural. I highly recommend- can’t wait for the second series.

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 03/05/2020 22:41

The OC and one tree hill are on amazon prime

Part of five was on Netflix
This is us - is mostly adults but flash backs to being a teenager - prime

Not teen but similar to Gilmore Girls- Chesapeake Shore and Virgin Creek both Netflix

othfan · 03/05/2020 22:41

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 03/05/2020 22:42

Beverley Hills 90210

Smallville
Roswell
Buffy
Angel
Dawson's creek

No idea if they are all on Netflix or Amazon. I lose track Blush

PammieDooveOrangeJoof · 03/05/2020 22:44

I loved NHIE and was thinking ooh what can I watch now so thanks for this thread.
I really, really enjoyed The End of The Fucking World 1&2 and I am not OK with this was also entertaining.

YouBoggleMyMind · 03/05/2020 22:47

The OC
One Tree Hill
Sex and the City
Dawson's Creek

Wanderlust21 · 03/05/2020 22:50

The british shameless is more nitty gritty. Very different shows from each other.

The american one is more like the other things op watches, at least in terms if things like the teen romance between Ian and Mickey.

But both are good. And the uk one has a young James Macvoy to be fair!

BunnytheBee · 03/05/2020 22:51

Will look up end of the fucking world

I loved Dawson’s but not sure I could watch the whole thing again. I’d watch Buffy if it was on Netflix. Not fussed for smallville or Roswell.
