The kids choir are very cute.

DH is also not impressed that tennis is back - it wasn’t the greatest match but was still nice to see some tennis.

I was also a bit freaked out by everyone sitting so closely together in the crowd, Sascha running his hand through his sweaty hair and then shaking his opponent and the umpire’s hands

I hope that Djok hasn’t convinced the crowd that mind over matter will make them immune from the virus!

I didn't get to watch the evening matches, some interesting results.

I didn't sleep well, my brain refused to switch off, and decided to worry about all sorts of stuff. So I am already very bored of today .

But- it is Steffi Graf's birthday. . I loved watching Steffi. I still can't quite believe she is married to Andre- it's almost a 'parallel tennis universe' thing to me.

I didn't see the evening matches either, but I noticed Djok lost!

Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep Raahh I hear you. I just worry about everything these days. I'm so over it tbh. The tennis/chat yesterday was such a great distraction

I love Steffi Graf too, such a great player to watch. I wanted to be her, basically, when I was a kid

I know what you mean about her and Andre! I suppose because they're not often seen at tournaments etc it makes it seem a bit imaginary?! I remember Steffi being at the US Open when André coached Grigor for a while, but even that must be 2/3 years ago now??

I have just returned from a reasonably ok Aldi trip. Apart from the fact I always end up with a headache. Not sure why. I can't stand the smell of sanitiser- maybe that is it?

So here I am , watching the tennis . Still can't get my head around the ball girls and the towels- even in 'normal' times people complained about sweaty towels, and the fact the ballkids had to handle them. Seems so backward thinking.

Glad Aldi wasn't too bad! I know what you mean about the sanitiser smell. It's a bit on the strong side.

Spidey Kajinovic is playing Troicki. They are in a second set tie break (it confused me yeaterday when they go to 3 games all in match and a tie break started- this format messes with my head). Krajiinovic has just won the match.

Oh, it's Djok and Sascha next.

Can't watch it now, though, really must take the dog. Don't mind watching a recording though.

Well, not the longest walk ever- far too warm.

Djok is wearing a white version with red lines of the 'crime scene' shirt. It's worse than the other one.

Sascha lost the first set 4-0 I see- don't think I will bother watching it.

Well, that was a turn up- Sascha played a lot better there, and Djok went walkabout.

I can't watch because DS is on the PlayStation. Pissing rain here but it's very warm.

Jane the weather has confused me- it is really hot and muggy- both today and yesterday it has felt like a storm is brewing. There was one forecast for yesterday- but it never came.

Sascha needs to go home, and spend the rest of the season working on his serve, (in my humble opinion as a top tennis coach). . All these double faults are getting a bit silly now.

He can leave the laundry for a bit.

It's so weird isn't it - remember when he won the WTFs and he kept hitting all those aces?? What happened to that?!

He just keeps finding the net now, Spidey.

So, it is Thiem and Krajinovic in the final, although it could have been Djok .

He was very emotional after his match. But it was in Serbian, and the Eurosport/Brit commentary team can't afford an interpreter .

Well, just managed to see a bit of the final- Thiem has just won the opening set. He looks very sweaty.

I am very pleased about this- Sunday evening telly has been rubbish- so I am very happy to have tennis to watch.

I was trying to find out where the next leg of this 'tour' was- it's some where on the Croatian coast.

Which reminds me- where's Goran?

(Djok's tour is continuing his bid for Former Yugoslavian /world peace the other leg is in Bosnia. Obviously, the Montenegro leg is now cancelled).

I quite like this, as it is allowing some 'lesser' player (though Krajinovic is ranked in the 30s) to show what they can do . I wanted Spain to beat Serbia at the ATP cup (Obvs) but I was still pleased for player like Lajovic who really proved they belonged on the team.

Bloody hell- the ATP cup suddenly feels like an age away!

And Dom wins.

But Krajinovic has played well this weekend.
