We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

Kingy is out of uniform - strange it's not military because he got married in uniform and it meant a lot to him.

I suppose this is almost like the funeral for Elvis that she didn't attend.

Lt Hurst doesn't fill you with confidence - now he's realising what a rubbish Dad his own father was.

Georgie is starting to question whether Elvis is still alive? There's surely no other reason for this than her PTSD. Kingy suggests she stays in the UK and doesn't go back to Afghan to finish the tour.

The more I see of this series, the more I realise what MINCE they made of the Nepal tour and how much better it could have been without the obnoxious brat.

Monk has certainly matured now he's a father.

The Lt. Realises what a rubbish dad his dad is, but he's realistic enough to not bring personal to the battlefield. I thought that his advice to Monk was sound - the alternative would be to leave the forces, wouldn't it?

Now Prof learns something that might be of interest to a certain Medic.

Mimi and Prof escort two Americans back to base. They both hear that Omar is to be used as a bargaining tool - he provides information and they let him free.

Hugs all round when Kingy and Georgie return to the platoon.

Now, it looks as if we have a newcomer in our midst. He has the unlikely name of Cheese? It would appear he and Mimi know each other.

Antonio comes to chat to Georgie. "God places the heaviest burden on those who can carry it" - my grandma used to say something very similar. He gets a hug for his wisdom. No social distancing there!!!

So, there's a replacement for the section called...cheese! Oh looks like he and Mimi have met before.

Agree eejit. This series is a million times better.

"All right, Mimi? " I completely missed these words from Cheese. So there's previous between those two? In. Terest. Ing.

Dr Antonio makes a house call...she's ready for anything she thinks. Not sure she's fit to judge.

ooh he's always there for her - a lot of hugging in this episode...hmmm!

Everyone's heading to the Med Room...they all like a medic it seems.

Oh no Prof has told Georgie what he overheard and now she's about to fly off the hook again....nothing like a considered reaction to that news.

Georgie charges into the Brigadier's office and starts shouting her mouth off.

The next we see, she is sounding off to Dr Antonio.

This reaction is just beyond anything she has ever said or done before.

Antonio knows she is off her head right now and is playing for time.

Georgie has to go for a psychiatric evaluation. Not a surprise really.

There is a huge question mark over Georgie now, she needs to be evaluated. I make them about right on that one

"Can I just say?"...."No!" that's a first isn't it!

That was a better episode than any of the ones in the last series!

I feel quite drained after that! I did enjoy it though.

I'd like to add my voice to the agreement that this series is such an improvement on the last series. Not sure what's changed but it really is for the better.
