And yes, it was obviously Gray was going to appear with the kids when
Mitch went for them. Horrible that he then overheard Chantelle on the phone :(

I'm enjoying the amount of Covid realism at the moment,'I can't deal with too much. It's going to get harder as the rules keep changing though . The 6+ gathering limit won't kick in until later. Having people in the minute mart or market in masks is going to be pretty tough too. It'd be too tricky to understand people, maybe they'll use it as a narrative device to create some confusion.

I don’t think they will evolve with new rules all the time. The odd token effort so we don’t totally forget about 2020 but no more. They not even bothered with dramatic warnings like “This was filmed before current covid rules” advice before each one. Other shows have actors taking them off before they speak and the like so hardly worth showing them with them in first place.

Is it just me or did Kat look really funny tonight? Like her head had been cut and pasted on a different body! She looked very strange.

80’s Ian’s trying to get elected to the council planning chair (or something like that) so was trying to show off pub and places he owns. Other guy not impressed but fancied Sharon. Sharon did her bar maid act in return and Ian is not impressed. Later he reminds her he is her employer and he may have to start setting targets. Or else get someone else in. Basically doing the so we have a purely business relationship do we foot stomp

Poor Chantel is in some strange holiday home with their own bar in their room. Her Dad notices she is depressed and she says she is missing the kids. He says I’ll go and get them. She is thrilled and rings the suit man saying I’ve changed my mind I want tease in. But Dad has brought grey back in the car and he over hears here.

Something is happening with the guy who shot Ben in the ear. Can’t remember who was doing over who in the end. But Ben gets Jay to use a burner phone and to ring police after dumping a bag of stolen cash in his car.

Lots of chat about Ian and his mum both going on dating apps. I can only presume at some point they will both be matched and turn up on w blind date with each other!

Oh and Kat appears looking strange (see my above post) and shouted to Kush about she’s paid his arrears for his stall. No idea how or why he is behind. Possible a clue as to who has Whats her names cash!

@Akire - I thought Sharon said Peter was working a shift when she suggested Ian should take an evening off. (Could have misheard, though!)

Did anyone see the weird extra in the scene where ruby arrived at the hospital to see Martin? A woman in a maroon coloured shirt with her back to camera standing like a statue against some sort of vending machine, I think it was showing that she was giving ruby space to walk past but it looked like she was trying to be invisible they could have easily just not had anyone there TBF. Would we care if there was no extra in a hospital corridor?

Now that is a story line! Sharon tricks Ian into marrying her (no doubt in time for Xmas day) then oh dear he’s fallen off the roof trying to play Santa for Albie and oh look I inherit the pub and all the business!

The cash came from "the job " the mitchels and Danny did before lockdown Phill and Ben stole it. Kat is obviously fleecing Ruby what with paying for Kush to have his stall back 🙄

I laughed out loud at the woman trying to blend into the vending machine it was so funny!
