What did I watch?

The music videos absolutely floored me! how amazing were they? Cat lady and her husband sitting gushing over their video while the film maker was sitting trying to hold in all the cringe

That funeral speech! who the hell jokes about their husbands testicles at their funeral??? With his mum there? And why wasn’t his mum appalled? (Was she high? She looked high) and then the singing? It was at this point I decided it was definitely all staged and they were actors. But no. It’s all real.

What about sleazy McMaster crook Lowe sleazing over the new nanny right to his pregnant wife’s face! Ewww. How are women attracted to these men?

Cat lady- did she do it? I’m not convinced. If she did she didn’t do it alone. I have a suspicion her and her husband devised a plot together to have him disappear. His gardener was very insightful. I reckon he hid enough money in loads of places and fed people load me of info about Costa Rica to throw them. He’s actually gone somewhere else. Cat lady was in on it and helped stage the van at the airport etc. The wording of the power of attorney wrt “my disappearance”- I reckon he put that because he knew he was going to disappear rather than die, and wanted to make sure cat lady would get all his money and assets. Rather than it going to his daughters.

The music videos were certainly a highlight.

I was floored by the fact he got 19% of the vote for governor.

I know! People actually voted for him!

And that he thought he could be president!

We are just so amazed that every single person involved is so bizarre and worthy of a Netflix documentary in their own right! Can't believe what a bunch of crooks they all are!

And as for the two husbands who weren't even gay - what the??!

Also it was so sad how in the end it was obvious that not one single person really cared about the tigers and other animals.

Also how lots of people kept describing the big cats as "Sexy" 🤢

I suppose because they we’re both addicts and had no other options- he was offering them constant drugs and somewhere to live where they could basically live without rules, shoot whatever they wanted and get new cars all the time. Pretty sad situation.

The doc antle guy kept referring to the sexy cats and how people didn’t like people having relationships with cats. I felt like he was talking about bestiality tbh.

There is just so much to discuss.

My overall feel from it was all the Big Cat Zoo owners were power hungry. They all loved the attention and adulation that these animals and people gave them.
The way they treated their women was all about power.
Even Carol loved the way her husband thought she was amazing.

The zoo owners were just abusive controllers to their women and animals and also staff members. Was really horrible to watch.

Joe basically groomed those young boys into marrying him.

I dont know how she’d have Managed it.

She’d had to have gotten him to walk into one of the cages voluntarily. (She couldn’t have dragged his body) And then gotten the tigers to attack him. (She later mentioned sardine oil or something to entice tigers to attack) but there’s no way they’d have cleaned up every single bit of blood. They’d have had blood all over their fur. A live kill is very different than being fed already cut up chunks of animal. And her cats aren’t handled so there’s no way she’d have been able to go in and clean up any blood they left. Her staff would definitely have noticed blood on them and that they weren’t eating their breakfast.

Also that lady who got her arm
bitten off. I felt she had no choice but to be ok with what happened to her otherwise Joe would have sacked her and she would be homeless.

He got married 2 months after one of his non-gay husbands died. And the mother of his deceased husband was at the funeral.

More seriously though- he groomed those three young guys. He was so predatory picking lonely lost boys and offering them drugs, cars and guns while forbidding them to leave.

The whole world is just barmy. It must have massive ties to organised crime, I couldn't stop watching it.

What i want to know is how and why people can volunteer for her cat “rescue” for years! How are they paying for their own homes and families etc? They were saying it’s a 365 job. So how are they able to do it for free? And why?? Do they get a degree out of it at the end? Or just a blue t-shirt? I don’t know what the incentive is.

Please can someone tell me if Joe Exotic was miming to his own voice in the music videos because it sounded NOTHING like him!
