What did I watch?

The music videos absolutely floored me! how amazing were they? Cat lady and her husband sitting gushing over their video while the film maker was sitting trying to hold in all the cringe

That funeral speech! who the hell jokes about their husbands testicles at their funeral??? With his mum there? And why wasn’t his mum appalled? (Was she high? She looked high) and then the singing? It was at this point I decided it was definitely all staged and they were actors. But no. It’s all real.

What about sleazy McMaster crook Lowe sleazing over the new nanny right to his pregnant wife’s face! Ewww. How are women attracted to these men?

I wondered that too. Or maybe some very good studio magic?

We need to find out the real singer of Joe Exotic’s songs. He was clearly miming.

I started this today, episode 3 it's beyond bizarre but I can't stop watching

It is the best documentary I've seen on Netflix. I enjoyed it even more than 'Don't F*ck with Cats'. I thought that documentary was on another level but Tiger King superseded this!

Not finished it yet but one of the worst parts was when it showed them taking those cubs straight from the mother and dragging one under the wire fence. I just wanted the tiger to leap up and maul them all.

Omg so much to discuss. Each episode just got more batshit than the previous one.

The dragging the cub under the fence was horrific! That poor mother watching it and she couldn’t do anything as she was still birthing another one. And all those scenes of other cubs crying. Crying for mum.

Yeah the poor cubs being torn away was the worst part of the whole season along with the video of the guy watching what happened to Travis.

Carol was by no means perfect (ahem), but at least she was very clear about how breeding the animals was inhumane.

It was funny that carol started off breeding the animals and grew to consider it wrong and campaign against it and Joe started off being opposed to breeding them and keeping them in captivity but grew to embrace it for his business and ego.

I neatly cried when the cub was removed while the mother was actually giving birth, my God

Because the gunned up owner publicly threatened a mini Waco if anyone tried to take his zoo. And also it’s legal to own those animals.

I can't work out what husband number 3 wanted with Joe Exotic? By that point Joe was broke and the husband seemed comfortably off. What am I missing?

Also I HATE the man who took Joe Exotic's zoo. He was, imo, the most hateful of all of the options to choose from. Disgusting human being.

The murder for hire plot- I reckon Lowe was the instigator of that. He wanted Joes zoo. He knew how to get rid of him. He is far smarter than joe. I reckon he set up the whole thing with his handyman Allen and roped stupid strip club boy in to unwittingly feed it all to the FBI without knowing it was all being staged.

Carol was definitely smarter than Joe though because before he was thrown in jail all his colleagues turned against him and testified in court.

Joe is obviously an absolute piece of shit, but I am pretty sure (from what we’ve seen anyway) the main charge was a set up. He and the alleged hired hitman despised each other - why would he kill someone for him, for £3k?

And why are all of these men such horrific sexual predators? Antle needs to be investigated for a lot of things, horrible rapey fucker.
