No tennis never bothered us before so why change now?

Our library closed when the schools did. I'd been a few days before and I keep thinking about an old lady who was telling the librarian she'd been stuck indoors because of the bad weather and that it was so good to get out for a while

I got Mac's autobiography out so I'll have some tennis content at least.

I'm the same with needing alone time.

Our library shuts tomorrow - it’s run by volunteers who looked fairly elderly. They all seemed to be a bit oblivious to everything (as did the man breathing down my neck in the Morrison’s queue )

Hope you enjoy the Mac book Jane - I thought it was quite entertaining. I got a book for my DM called The Island but it’s about a leper colony - not sure whether to give it her not!

In non tennis news I bought a stamp yesterday and Daniel Craig as James Bond from Casino Royale was on it! (Unfortunately not in his speedos!). I think the post office woman thought I was mad that I was so impressed!

It was Instagram and you can block people. I had to block some eejit who kept messaging me and got annoyed when I didn't reply to him.

I have to post my mum's mother's Day card, as we were meeting up but now not. And it'll be late. Ah well. Hopefully she will get a Daniel Craig stamp out of it!

There were only about 15 kids in DS's class today as well - when I arrived for pick up they were all playing wholesomely on the school field in the sun - I was quite emotional myself!

Our main library closed earlier in the week but our little local one was still open today, so I did a sort of supermarket sweep of random books. You can also use borrow box here (e-book borrowing), not sure if that's the same for all libraries, but it's quite good.

Anyway, I went to the shops today, because the pharmacy I go to is in a tesco, and DD1, (who is off school) was with me, we got a few bits. There is a limit of 3 things for most stuff- but this must not apply to the chocolate Freddos we got for dd2 ( we got 4 ).

Spidey I saw my mum the other day, and gave her her card- more organised than usual, in fact very organised, I had actually bought 3 cards. Does this count as panic buying? . Gave one to the dc to give back to me. (Its' a nice card).

The meal thing is that we’re not usually all in at the same time 7 days a week but now we are so it’s a bit of a nightmare coming up with ideas for meals and then doing the cooking every night - I’ll see how it goes!
