Just seen that my post was 999, so though I should open a new one. Not meaning to tread on anyone's toes - except Gary/Ryan/Geoff etc.

Emma deserves someone who will worship the ground she walks on, she is so lovely. Craigy might just fit the bill.

Great... Political 'drama' in a retirement village.. woo.. just what we want in a soap.

Right, so last week we were watching the build up to the end of a very serious and well done DA storyline- one we were all invested in and eager to see concluded. And what do they do? Oh they drop it completely and throw a PND storyline, a toddler convulsion, an Emma breakdown, a Steve/Leanne swords drawn storyline, a teen sex abuse storyline and a pension books at dawn storyline at us. The whole while we’re supposed to assume all is rosy in Yasmeen and Geoff’s house since he realised she has sought help from the police? Really?

I'm just watching it on catch up, what a boring episode

Its so dragged out and no continuity

Leanne and Nick make a brilliant pair ... of miseries!

What the fuck is Leannes problem. Unless she never goes out and leaves Oliver with a babysitter she has no right to criticise Steve! Other than for lying about being at home anyway.

Leanne’s face get some more sucked in every time she’s on. Nick looks like death permanently.

There are certain longstanding characters who I just find awful, boring and I wouldn't mind if they disappeared. Leanne is one of them and I've felt like that since she came on the Street. When her 'slot' on the episode happens, I play with my phone!

I was thinking the same Hearty also remember when Kate burst in on Rana to argue with her and she was dealing with a patient, completely unprofessional.

I like Emma, she doesn't deserve the way she is being treated, and Seb is awful as always.

What ever happened to Faye, is she gone for good.

Have the episodes been shuffled around.

So odd the main storyline has been forgotten again

They so often drop a storyline for a couple of weeks, then plunge back into it. It seems so much slower now, though, because of the spacing out of the episodes.

I think tonight was his first night.

Crikey last night's episode was tedious. Teenage party, boring.

The best bit was Ken's snarl when he challenged whathisname to a fencing match.

Teenage party so predictable, everything happened that you’d expect: alcohol smuggled in, one drinks too much and passes out/ is sick. Token ‘bitchy’ girl(s), some sort of main drama, in this case the video of Asha, something gets broken. As if that teenage boy would leave his phone on the side!

Or leave it unlocked m! She's a chip off the old block isn't she?

I wonder is fencing a popular activity in retirement villages. In fact the retirement village throws up surprises unlike the teenagers.

Ive had to stop watching. It is utterly ridiculous.

Proper fencing kit, posh bar and did you see the size of Ken's apartment!
Have the writers or actors ever been inside a retirement village/supported living?

Ken's apartment looked like the Presidential Suite in a top hotel somewhere swanky in the world.
