Just seen that my post was 999, so though I should open a new one. Not meaning to tread on anyone's toes - except Gary/Ryan/Geoff etc.

Yes! This! Maybe they're gearing up to have them taken away by SS? I just don't see how they can continue with it unless they never mention the family again until the quads are teenagers.

Katie, Chesney's ex, also had PND with Joseph. She left him in the house. Or maybe not PND but a similar story.

I hope they aren't removed by SS, as that could really put the frighteners on anyone suffering from PND who does need to ask for help.

Having the quads removed by ss would be a terrible idea! There's already enough stigma around mental health, particularly post-natal. I think it would terrify mums into not going to see the gp/hv.

And yes to the PP who said Claire Peacock had it. I seem to remember she tried to push her babys pram in front of a car? I think she had puerperal psychosis.

Kevin had a wife who did something like that too, did her baby die? She might have been run over? I think Kevin has forgotten about it too.
They really should let gemma be helped through this, having started the storyline they should show that help is available.

Yes she was a mousey wee girl - the baby was Jake according to the black hole of Kevinness on Wikipedia.
Those Coronation Street people have complex lives.

Yes, she was called Alison.
Their baby, Jake died when he was a few days old.
She went on to kill herself by jumping in front of a truck.

Oh I remember that now, she had a baby the same day that Bethany was born and the baby died. She took Bethany from the hospital. They found her and she handed Bethany back and then jumped in front of a lorry. Was a grim storyline

@ColonelNobbyNobbs yes I think so, although I haven't watched Eastenders for a few years. Claire Peacock must have had it years before Stacey though. I vaguely remember it and think it was before my 15 year old was born.

I didnt know Kevin had another wife and child. Although DS persuaded me to get BritBox so I might start on Classic Corrie Grin

What is all the crap about Toyah applying for a job at an unethical company that she hates?
A. No one cares about Toyah.
B. There are other companies she could apply to.
C. Inram has a good job and they live in a flat share so can't be too short of money.
D. She could work freelance, god knows the street is full of troubled souls.
E. No one cares about Toyah.

Actually - after the initial announcement when he was running with Imran, I haven't heard anything about Craig's fitness drive recently. Another forgotten storyline?

Actually Craig(y) lost a lot of weight so they had to write something in, so the not so fat anymore comment is a sort of compliment. That's what I read somewhere.

Craig and Bethany had zero chemistry when they were together- I don't think they were ever seen kissing or even holding hands. When he was with Kayla there was no physical contact either. I can't imagine him as being Emma's love interest either, although they are both kind and thoughtful so their personalities would be a good match.
