They have been mentioning Eccles a lot lately and ken had that little heart to heart, not looking good. :(

I think they are setting Emma up for a storyline. Lost her mum and split from seb feeling 2nd best. Her dad Steve left her with his family and she's been alone with the dog and the family have just been mean to her. Seems like some depression type storyline maybe?

I hope she doesn’t do anything stupid.

Are they planning on running two depression storylines at the same time? Emma and Gemma? I suppose depression is so common so not odd that two people on the same street would have it but weird that Corrie would run two of the same story at the same time. Unless they’re going to be a support to each other which happens with depression IRL sometimes.

Poor Eccles 😥 and poor Emma, that scene at the end really highlighted that the McDonalds and Barlows really don’t think she is part of the family at all, it’s all lip service.

Does anyone else think the big secret meet up with the police officers was a massive damp squib? Considering it was all very cloak and dagger the police officers revealed pretty much nothing that Yasmeen did not already know. I was expecting then to reveal his abusive past but the highlight of the meeting was Yasmeen asking for their card! Which was pretty stupid considering she has their number on speed dial......

Yes I expected some new information but no, they just confirmed what she already knew and couldn't even clarify if Geoff’s version of events was true or not!

When Yasmeen/Geoff concludes, there's no other storylines I'm interested in. Certainly not Gemma, Seb, Emma any of that. So the writers better get a move on to work out how to amuse me!
