Just seen that my post was 999, so though I should open a new one. Not meaning to tread on anyone's toes - except Gary/Ryan/Geoff etc.

Do we think Michael and Alina are going to get together? That’s what usually happens when two characters who don’t normally interact start chatting together. I do like Michael though and can’t really understand why his baby’s mum is so miserable towards him.
I noticed tonight that one of the houses on the main side of the street (to the right of Chesney’s) has much more modern brickwork, more even in shape and colour to the adjoining houses. Did this house get rebuilt in some storyline? I can’t work out whose house it is but it’s not Tracy’s/footballer family/Ches/Fizz’s - perhaps Dev?

I think Len Fairclough did an infill house about 100 years ago.

We rarely get to see Chesney's bay window. They should shoot from that angle more often as it looks less chaotic.

I googled it - apparently it collapsed in the 1960s did to a faulty beam, a bench was on the land for years until the house was rebuilt by Len Fairclough in 1982. After the rebuild he lived there with Rita followed by Curly who adapted the loft for his telescope. After that it was Danny Baldwin’s family’s, also Blanche, Liam Connor and now Dev. I feel remarkably well informed about that particular property now.

I don't know what they did tonight but even my DH said the windows were wrong.
I think Aliyah is brilliant.
I think this storyline is so important at this point in time - I didn't notice tonight (because I wasn't looking) but I really hope that they are putting up the numbers for women's aid at the end of every episode.

I think David pushed Gail after he found out Tina had a termination and Gail knew all about it.

How do Geoff's hidden cameras escape the meticulous cleaning he makes Yasmeen do?!
As much as I want Yasmeen to be happy, and Geoff to get his comeuppance, I will in a way miss this storyline when it ends. It has kept me gripped (something Corrie hasn't managed to do for a long time), and is so very well done.

I'm glossing over the camera plot hole by assuming Geoff bought a camera that is hidden in something else, like a photo frame or jewellery box. one of those tiny tiny pin hole cameras.

So if Yasmeen found the cameras, that would surely be it, wouldn't it...

Geoff has managed to justify the escorts, god knows how. He's meant to be doing a study on escorts or something?! I'm surprised Yasmeen has bought that load of bullshit. Has he ever talked about studying this?! I imagine that it's not just one thing with Yasmeen making her think twice, but lots of little things dawning on her. I have luckily never been in an abusive relationship, but I was a long time ago with someone who was the worst kind of narcissist and it ws lots and lots of little things that ended up with me thinking... NO this is not right.

AFAIC this has been the best story since Bethany and the grooming which I found absolutely chilling and very well acted.

Its a great storyline. Like a good book, i am dying to see how it ends, but not wanting it to end. And god how i hate Geoff.

I'd forgotten the camera - of course, he'll come rushing back from the chippie after listening to the phone call.

Both stories mentioned - Bethany/Nathan and currently Yazmeen/Geoff have been really horrible to watch - and I would say I have hated both storylines. Yet that is really testament to the writing and acting, that they have 'got' to me. And obviously many others.

Robert was shot and killed right on the street only a few months ago and nobody mentions him now. If that was our street, we'd be still talking about years later!

Surely as a hospital DJ, Geoff would just be playing crap songs and trying to cheer up the patients. It's not like he's an investigative journalist, is it?

When does Geoff have time to do all these things. E,g, hospital do

Remember him Doing magic show too and working at the restaurant yet he always seems to be home being horrible too

Spam88 One of my neighbours once did a Daily Mail sad faced article in the actual Daily Mail. This was about 8 years ago and it still gets a mention at every get together

Someone got run over and I think stabbed on my street sometime in the last 2 years. I got home from work to find half the street closed off by police tape and had to beg to be allowed past it to get home (it literally ran between my house and next door).
The details are hazy because no one ever mentions it!
