Just seen that my post was 999, so though I should open a new one. Not meaning to tread on anyone's toes - except Gary/Ryan/Geoff etc.

Thought the knife was the indication he was going to kill the hen?

I don't think it's usual to stab chickens to death, but Geoff is deranged. I understand how awful it is for people going through similar in real life, but the level of concern for yasmeen here is positive. I'd try to help a neighbour, and I know others who would, but reaching out is so hard.

Found last night really hard to watch.. can't take any more of this Geoff storyline.

I tend to watch Corrie while I'm doing other things. I hate the abuse storyline, and frequently turn down the sound, but I suppose that shows they're making a good job of it - writers and actors.

Second what maxbabi says - hope this might encourage people in this situation to seek help.

Phelan was a bad un but at least he had some sort of 'charm', some niceness towards Eileen . Geoff has nothing. He's not nice to anyone so I don't understand the story really. I've been in an abusive relationship many years ago and again, he could be lovely to me.
What is yasmeen getting out of the relationship or is it that's she's in too deep now and just keeps trying to please him, make him happy?
I just want to punch him and I hope eventually he's found out and people ostracise him.
I fear there'll be no decent conclusion though.
Same with Gary the murderer, why has that loan shark not been found yet?
What happened with Roberts funeral??
It's like the writers just move on to the next sensational story line without thinking the viewers might like some closure!

No but it is usual to chop off the head and the feet once you've broken said chicken's neck.

Geoff (well the person who plays him) evidently is a good actor to get the reactions that are on here. Horrible to watch but good for highlighting this issue.

On another scene, bethany turned up at the pub in one outfit then in the next scene she'd got changed into a pink dress. Then in the bistro she was back to the black dress....

Then back to the pink dress in Daniels flat.

Very unrealistic about the chicken. It would make such a mess and take hours. He knew she had a bad back

Why doesn't she pay a cleaner and ask for her cards back.

How do Steve and Tracey have money for the house when they haven't marketed their flat yet.

Couldn't Tracey explain to Ken the finances and reduce the offer slightly

I wonder if Ken will find out what Peter and Carla did (brilliant idea - totally playing on Tracey's nastiness), and will let Tracey and Steve have the house for the original £120,000 asking price.

I was hoping Aliya would arrive at the house just as Geoff was being so bloody awful to Yasmeen, at least Gail might now suspect something is not right.

I also think Charlotte will turn up, there is no way Geoff could have done all that in a hour or so.

I did enjoy the looks between Carla and Peter when the envelopes were being open

Did he sneak out to Dev's.?

He must have gone out, they had lots of salad. Does dev have a roast chicken department, maybe the co-op does.

Yes I assumed the chicken was hidden and he'd popped to the shop. I don't know why Yasmeen didn't question it.

Haha, I wonder if Mary's cardigan is on that site, I know it's M & S, and probably circa 2000, she's been wearing for years and years!

Mary mentioned buying her camper van, but I am pretty sure she won it in a competition? Also have the writers forgotten the money Kevin's sister gave him, he could buy out Tyrone's share of the garage so Tyrone isn't affected by Ray's schemes. Poor Yasmin, she really needs to get rid of Geoff. I would kill him and feed him to the chickens, seems fitting.

I think Charlotte will have been set free and be found wandering the street soon.
