I'd say the opposite. Fiona was a miserable shouty woman who rarely smiled.

It must have been her dad who raised her to be so lovely then. I do remember Fiona being shouty and mardy.

Did Fiona become a detective in Lewis?

Why did Fizz apologise to Jenny in the pub? What did I miss?

I think Jenny had given Fizz a hard time over her supplying the gun to Gary.

Steve Macdonald is my favourite character. I dunno why... he just makes me laugh. I'd be gutted if he was written out

Alina annoys me, she's too perky. Emma should keep an eye on her.

Emma I reckon would make a lovely girlfriend. I think she's loyal and kind if a bit dim

The actressl who plays Alina is actually 25. She looks about Amy's age!

Seb is no prize, no idea why either emma or alina would want him, they are both lovely, inside and out. I actually think emma has a look of steve, around the eyes. I hate Geoff.

Is seb currently the coronation street builder, or is Gary doing that? If not, is anyone using the yard?

I know it's not the same as it was years ago but still, would two women be fighting over someone that's HIV positive even these days? It would always be a big issue in a relationship surely?

They've postponed filming Coronation Street (and Emmerdale) until further notice.

Oh no! It's the only thing I watch. Wish i'd stocked up and not watched recent episodes.

Seb's hiv is the most interesting thing about him. Isnt the new family's builder dad using the yard? Why doesn't Seb start a window cleaning business, they always did well in the past.

I wonder if they'll insert a few more CV comments in to the script - and how the devil are they going to deal with pubs/cafes/bars being closed?

I think I would make an announcement saying that Corrie provides escapism for many, and they are therefore ignoring the current crisis and continuing with their planned scripts. Or is that stupid?

We might even come up with decent storylines that don't just fizzle out or stretch credibility too much.

Why was Evelyn so thoroughly vile to Claudia, on the back of the makeover? Was it to get out of paying? Old bag!

Because Claudia bullied her and belittled her into having a makeover, and overdid the make up. Claudia pushes everyone around. I thought it was nice to see her have someone stand up to her.

I tonight Evelyn looked great, and she was visibly smirking in the mirror!
Good point about Claudia though.
Their characters (Evelyn, Norris, Gemma, Claudia, Mary, etc) are all so exaggerated. Nobody behaves in real life as they do. And if they did, they'd have nae pals at all.

Yes, and they are all older characters who have become caricatures. No sensible, kindly elderly people.
