Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

It seems a situation has arisen which means the so called training exercise will be abandoned and the soldiers will be entering a real war zone.

To be continued by the looks of it. This episode reminded me a lot of OG series 2 apart from those awful pants sense - remember the Elvis shower - cor - I do hope that makes it into the Elvis flashbacks somehow.

Yes that sounds good ilove. I will definitely need to watch, absorb and possibly disapprove/pick holes in it and then discuss the lack of CJ, cute goats, hunky special forces soldiers and big...watches!

Yes, I know eejit but I reckon it should be fitted in somehow for our benefit even if it's just a CJ voiceover reminiscing about his friend Elvis.

There is quite an interesting OG trailer on YouTube called Series 3 Recap. Georgie (MK) is explaining what happened in that series and how it affected her etc. Losing Elvis and the "thing" with CJ etc. Then goes on to feature the new personnel in series 4. My only problem with is that I have trouble with MK's voice (or maybe accent) sometimes so missed little snippets.

Roll on Tuesday now as I am beginning to get in the mood for it!

I think our strange situation we find ourselves in might mean I sift through my DVDs and as yet unwatched TV recordings. The new OG series is well timed in that respect!

Everything I am involved with through the week has been cancelled though I can work on my own in a garden belonging to a local charity. Depends how long we have to practise social distancing for. Plenty to do in my own garden too. I also went to the local DIY store this morning to stock up on paint for the fence. There were plenty of over 70s in there I noticed!

Managed to get up to date on Soldier Soldier in the last few days. Now all set for tomorrow night's excitement.

It's the one thing to look forward to at the moment eejit.

Oh goodness, you're definitely right ilove it really is the only thing to look forward to right now. The news is so grim, but I think there's no choice at the moment. Never was there a time we needed diversion more.
