Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

I don't remember much about it either but having seen the photos on the DVD box, it has jogged my memory a little.

Helicopter flying low over scrubland...it's a bit OG...but no it's actually a helicopter safari.

I am so glad Major Rory is still with us. He's worth watching.

Golly, this is very OG series 2 isn't it. The medical facility and Dr Sadie with a local nurse. So who fancies the nurse then?

Dr Sadie is confessing all about her romance with Paul, so is she warning the nurse off about Jeremy.

Yes, I think it would have been in the mid nineties when this was made so after Nelson Mandela's release.

We're not much good at working out who's who and who should be doing what in these exercises, are we Rhu?

Ooooh, I thought Dr Sadie had left the regiment. Are they setting up a new hospital?

Dr Sadie gives the nurse a resume of her affair with Col Phillips, probably to try and put her off having designs on dear old Jeremy who seems to have made quite an impression on her.

Jeremy is being ribbed about Lillian the nurse. Poor old Rory.

I think Fusilier Butcher is quite taken with the idea of seeing the world at the army's expense.

Dave plays some game or other with the young South African children and the little boys remind him of Macaulay back home.

Lillian's uniform is rather more fetching and clean/crisp looking than Georgie's combats and boots.
