Watched it all live last night only for my streaming to go down right at the last minute

Glad Kelvin and Oti won, not so much for Kelvin because I was never that bothered but because I genuinely love Oti so much and she was so robbed the year Danny Mac should have won. She's a supreme choreographer and just a joy. And beautiful 😍

Emma seemed a bit nervous in the show dance and whilst I adored Karims jive (gave me proper Danny M feels) I hated the contempowaft (I actually like contemporary dance, but didn't like this one).

In celebration of Oti I spent an hour in the bath watching her and Danny Mac

I also felt a rumba and a samba were an odd choice for the finale (appreciate one the judges picked though) and quite brave!

Saying there was zero integration with Mrs Kelvin and her in-laws is wrong and bitchy. I saw Mrs K and her father in law having a lovely hug.

Sad to say I got a reply from MNHQ saying no time to be hat the glitterball.

Just watched the final again. I take back every, even slightly negative thing I may have thought/said about Tess, Motsi and Bruno over the last few weeks. Compared with silly Shirley they’re all competent enough, whereas she’s totally lost whatever credibility she had when they brought her in a few years ago. Dire isn’t the word- or rather it is; as are vulgar, idiotic, banal, fatuous and irritating.

A pp asked up thread if she was pissed.... it certainly looked like it. When did she become so ridiculous? Was she this bad in the beginning?

I don’t watch Strictly regularly, but it seems like Shirley is morphing into Bruno - being a bit pantomime. I think she’s felt boring between Motsi and Bruno.
