Yes, TheSquitz longest lasting kidney in medical history. Every decade the writers seem to remember that TraceyLuv has had a transplant and we see her need her meds. They totally forgot about it when she was pregnant with twins.

Not sure what Corrie,s obsession is with Blackpool ,they could just have easily have gone to Southport or Morcambe or North Wales etc so as not to offend Rita

I’m hoping someone here will remember something I’m struggling with... does anyone recall why the Blackpool storyline with Rita and the Websters was rewritten? I’m sure Rosie was supposed to be kidnapped, but there was a similar case in real life between the episodes being filmed and aired - hence we got the hastily written nonsense about the owner of the guest house hoovering at midnight. I can’t find anything online - anyone know?

(BTW, if it’s been driving you mad trying to work out who guest house man is, he was the nicer brother of Vernon in Heartbeat.)

I don't recall plans to have Rosie kidnapped when she was a baby. I do recall her being kidnapped as a teenager by John Stape though.

I don't remember Rosie suppose to being kidnapped ? But it wouldn't have been that long after Jamie Bulger? And the trial.etc so I expect it would have been a very cheap controversial story line .

Still Coughing you are right. I remember it had to be changed. It certainly looked that way, the strife at the hotel was just weird.

Interesting about the rewritten kidnap storyline. I thought it was quite poor. Kev protested but Sally would never have put up with that level of service either, Rita certainly not, all three are quite feisty.

Maybe they took note of the backlash Emmerdale got for the plane crash storyline.

What I don't understand is the lack of cars parked in that street, there's even less now than there was back then. No one has a garage, but as soon as a car is needed one just seems to appear.. where do they keep them??

Talking of Deirdre, how come her and Liz MacDonnald are suddenly besties? she never visited Liz in the pub. I thought Emily was supposed to be the long time family friend.
Liz getting all pious about the fling with Shamir. They are certainly going all out to set the scene.

I think Liz is a bit jealous she had the chance to leave Jim so she did ,but went back to him ,now Deirdre has bagged herself a young ( not so sexy ) Morrocan waiter ,I googled the actor who played him he's much better looking now than when he played Samir he must have grown into his looks ,I can't link sorry .
