True, the local parenting is poor!

SnakesOrLadders · 03/07/2020 21:41

Steve looks ill in this episodes and what’s with the nervous nail biting all of a sudden?!

SpinMill · 03/07/2020 21:47

Just reading through and reminded of Tracy, where is she, we've not seen her for ages have we, she's not been to see Deidrie in her new flat.
I thought the scene where Tricia was crying about hitting rock bottom by being in prison was well done, compared to nowadays episodes where almost everyone on the street has been wrongly convicted and served time behind bars!

x2boys · 03/07/2020 22:06

She went to Blackpool After her kidney transplant,Deirdre blamed Tracy for Samir dying ,although admittedly think they kind of made it up.

Ah, I vaguely remember now!

Can I join you please?

Susiesoap7 · 04/07/2020 09:30

Don't understand where this Canadian Steven has come from? And why is he not featured in today's episodes, have they forgotten about him?

StillCoughingandLaughing · 04/07/2020 11:03

Audrey had him at 16 and was forced by her father to let some family friends adopt him. Audrey became pregnant again at 17 with Gail, who she kept. Because Audrey knew the adoptive family, she was able to meet Stephen as an adult.

Stephen hasn’t appeared in about ten years, but he’s still mentioned - he is the Uncle
Stephen who Sarah and Bethany lived with in Milan.

maisiemoolou · 04/07/2020 15:27

@SnakesOrLadders I was thinking the same thing! He was a really good looking young lad and now he looks weathered.

YouDirtyMare · 06/07/2020 16:48

Maxine and fiona sharing a bedroom. Seems weird now

x2boys · 06/07/2020 18:57

It would have been weird in the 90,s too I shared a house with some friends whilst I was doing my nurse training around this time it would have been very strange if we had to shareShock

StopChelping · 06/07/2020 20:58

Just watched the Aidan storyline. Beautifully done. His despair, his goodbye dance with Eva. Heartbreaking.

SnakesOrLadders · 07/07/2020 20:07

I’ve really enjoyed the Ken/Denise storyline and Des/racquel/liz etc a lot too. I find myself fast forwarding Derek/Mavis and jamie and mum scenes.
Can’t remember the Malletts bring this rough they definitely softened them after a while.

x2boys · 07/07/2020 21:29

Jim is being very creepy at the moment I think this must be the lead up.to the big story line ...

SnakesOrLadders · 08/07/2020 12:49

Up to where he followed liz to the wine bar 🤔

SnakesOrLadders · 08/07/2020 12:50

Ivy’s ghost 😂 do not remember this storyline

YouDirtyMare · 08/07/2020 14:27

Just catching up on yesterday's episodes. The dancing at the disco is hilarious

bigmove2020 · 08/07/2020 17:22

I'm weeks behind but trying to catch up

SnakesOrLadders · 08/07/2020 22:33

To pulp 😂😂😂

Ontheboardwalk · 08/07/2020 22:34

And more Pulp 😂

justthecat · 09/07/2020 15:46

Love Alf and his “friend” and who knew it was Martin that got Roy into the cafe business

x2boys · 09/07/2020 18:59

Yes Alf and the handshake was very funny😂why on earth did Fiona approach Rita for a,loan she barely knows her , I know Rita must be very comfortable money wise but she's hardly Alan sugar.

eggandonion · 09/07/2020 20:57

Who's sorting the money for Fiona, is he a business man or relation? I keep missing bits. I remembered the Roy and cafe story line!

StillCoughingandLaughing · 09/07/2020 20:59

It’s her brother. And if you’re thinking, ‘Ooh, what’s he been in?’ - he’s a very young Anthony Trueman of EastEnders fame!

eggandonion · 09/07/2020 22:08

He is a nice brother! I wish Alma was still there, dh was horrified at that Stephen. When I go back to work he will have to watch and keep me updated.
