My DH just does an eye roll and makes sarcastic comments. Then I point out he’s just as bad, he spend hours watching men doing up random old vehicles on YouTube.

Des is cruel, but he’s right, Raquel doesn’t love Curly and she shouldn’t marry him out of pity and on the rebound from Des.

Aw, wee baby Daniel! I hope he has a lovely life!

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 07/03/2020 10:53

I haven't watched any of them this week, but have recorded them.

I'm going to have a lovely five-hour binge watch this afternoon Grin

Bet you're all jealous, aren't you 😜😃

x2boys · 07/03/2020 11:47

I am jealous !Grin

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 07/03/2020 12:04

Haha 😆!! Sorry, x2boys Wink

And the BEST part is that I can fast-forward through the annoying adverts!

x2boys · 07/03/2020 12:18

Enjoy!

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 07/03/2020 12:40

I intend to!

Thanks WinkGrin

I do ironing because dh thinks it is necessary; I let him believe that ironing is vital, whilst watching telly that he doesn't approve of. I'm not a very careful ironer, but 'I'll just watch this while I'm ironing' works a treat.

x2boys · 07/03/2020 20:53

I hope you enjoyed your classic corrie Saturday afternoon binge @WheresThatCatGoneNow !I have just caught up.on Fridays episodes im not surprised Sarah Lancashire left Corrie she was such a good actress Poor Curly ,she just doesn't love him .

Mammatino · 11/03/2020 18:12

I save them up to iron to too. I don't feel so alone now! Sarah Lancashire acts rings around poor old curly. Why is Denise being such a bitch?

x2boys · 11/03/2020 18:48

Mike ,s s smarmy little weasel , How cheeky was Tracy?£50 was worth a,lot more than ,then it is now ,I got a pair of purple velvet Dc,Martens for my 21,st in 1994 that cost £50!😂I wasent keen on Ken,s waistcoat teemed with his rather tight ( imo) slacks combo.

justthecat · 11/03/2020 19:16

Plus the tie, defin

justthecat · 11/03/2020 19:17

That would be: plus the tie, definite cringe

TheSquitz · 11/03/2020 19:31

Ken is quite a fan of sprayed on slacks.

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 12/03/2020 11:30

Yes thankyou, x2boys, I did!

It feels a bit odd, though, watching complicated, involved storylines, that were originally written to be played out over several months, being done and dusted within a week or two. Do you know what I mean?

Still love it though 😘

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 12/03/2020 11:55

That scene where Raquel totters off down the moonlit ginnel, clacking on her stilettos through the puddles, will always be one of my favourite iconic Corrie moments.

x2boys · 12/03/2020 12:18

I know but I quite like that sometimes , some long drawn out storylines can get a bit tedious ,so.i like that there is only a few weeks rather than several months .

Liverbird77 · 12/03/2020 12:50

Check out Rita's magazines. There was one on the shelf yesterday called "Female Executive". Brilliant!

Susiesoap7 · 12/03/2020 16:55

Ooh Mavis was a right little jealous bitch!
Tracy brabin was a better actress than politician!

SapatSea · 12/03/2020 17:40

"over actor" in both roles!

I spotted Executive Woman Liverbird thanks.

x2boys · 12/03/2020 17:53

Yeah me too the camera kept panning on it 😂Corrie can be very subtle sometimes .

justthecat · 12/03/2020 18:04

I always look at the chocolate bars and how big they are compared with now !

BarkandCheese · 13/03/2020 08:00

I love looking at the mags in the cabin, so many titles that no longer exist.

Was the £50 thing the start of Tracey’s drug problem story line? That would make sense of why she was so desperate to get the money and complained of “only” getting £50.

x2boys · 13/03/2020 10:01

Ah possibly Bark ,not sure how much ecstasy would have cost in the 90,s ? But I used to go out in Manchester ( ironically in the same bars and clubs as the actress that played teenage Tracey,I used to see her quite often) and as a student Nurse I didn't have a lot of money and could definitely have a good night out on £10 or £15 .
