Yes Alma,s stunning ,and a lovely person Mike doesn't appreciate her at all

Mammatino · 19/02/2020 18:20

Oh god. I can't believe Jack tried to stitch "creepy"curly up, who ever said that up thread, thanks I'm having it!! The Turkish romance is naff. How long before Tracey knackers her kidneys up?

x2boys · 19/02/2020 18:48

Next year some time in classic corrie world @Mammatino.I can see Tracy,s point would have been horrified atvTracy,s age if my mum had run off with a much younger Morrocan waiter ,but then look how Tracy turns outHmm

Mammatino · 19/02/2020 19:11

I've got to be honest if my 70 year old mum ran off with a morrocan waiter now I would be horrified.. My dad probably wouldn't mind as long as she told him where the radio times was kept. I know what you mean though, it was very taboo at the time and never ever seemed to end well. I think today's Tracey would be quite likely run off with a morrocan waiter half her age.

HairySpider · 20/02/2020 09:36

Its so cringey watching Samir and Deirdre, its like snogging your son! Blush

TheSquitz · 20/02/2020 10:40

I wonder how Anne Kirkbride felt about it?😒

Kannet · 20/02/2020 10:52

It's odd really as she obviously had a taste for older men, both Mike and Ken must be at least ten years older than her

OP posts:
x2boys · 20/02/2020 19:04

Deiedre,s hair is much nicer I'm guessing that ,s her own hair grown back after Anne Kirkbride,s cancer treatment? Much nicer than that wig .

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 20/02/2020 20:06

I am loving Angela! And what a great actress playing her.

I honestly do not remember these recent episodes (obviously I must have been too busy with my first serious boyfriend in 1994) so she is absolutely new to me.

I hope she's around for a while - there's huge potential for some brilliant comedy between Mavis and Angela Grin

x2boys · 20/02/2020 20:38

I don't Remember to much of these episodes either @WheresThatCatGoneNow I remember bits and bats ,but I was a student Nurse and spending a,lot of time when not on placement getting pissed in the bars of Manchester🙄

DixieLandReject · 21/02/2020 00:07

Looks like Deirdre is now supporting her natural locks! I felt really sorry for her when Emily told her she was making a big mistake. Poor Deirdre. Tracy is getting on my nerves, I’m sure she’s putting her accent on stronger and stronger and alls she ever seems to do jt shout and ball!

x2boys · 21/02/2020 17:35

I felt quite sorry for Tracey in today's episode ,it can't be easy for her ,I used to think the actress that played teenage Tracey was really crap ,but she's not a bad actress really .

BlancheDuBlah · 21/02/2020 18:37

I'm quite baffled at the fact that Fiona is meant to be in a relationship of sorts with Steve McD. All I see is her insulting him and avoiding him and him tolerating it. Weird.

Gail's daughter - Sarah Lou? - has to be the worst child actor EVER Grin.

x2boys · 21/02/2020 19:07

Tbf I think i think Sarah Lou has learnt her trade of " Nicky" who is also an appalling actor ,but yeah she is terrible ,yes Fiona.and Steve are not exactly a match made in heaven ,I did like her checked trousers today I had a similar pair in red and blue they were ace I just had to wash them and hang them up to dry I did resemble Rupert the bear a bit though🤔

Housewife2010 · 22/02/2020 11:42

Fiona is such an objectionable character. Deirdre's hair is much better, except for the super long sideburns.

WheresThatCatGoneNow · 22/02/2020 20:14

Was that a proper hat that Rita lent Deirdre?

It looked more like a sweatband with a bit of net curtain attached Confused

x2boys · 22/02/2020 20:34

I thought it was more of 90,s version of a " Fascinator"?

SapatSea · 23/02/2020 15:27

When did Ted and Rita hit the shops Bond St and why would he have bought a white, bridal "tifter"? , bit random. I feel sorry for Tracy too, her own worst enemy but Ken and Deirdre are pretty crap parents.

Does Fiona even kiss or have a physical relationship with Steve? all a bit strange and her constant shouting is awful, terrible acting.

BlancheDuBlah · 23/02/2020 16:18

Tbf both Steve and Fiona do a lot of OTT eye-rolling, could be that that attracted them to each other. Aye.

x2boys · 23/02/2020 16:30

Fiona said something about it just being sex last week in an episode so I assume they do have a physical relationship ,but they are irritating they have only been together a few months ?it all seems like so much hassle .

BlancheDuBlah · 23/02/2020 16:45

Yes x2boys she mentioned staying in with him and takeaways as well. 90s version of Netflix & chill I'm guessing.

x2boys · 23/02/2020 17:58

Indeed Blanche ,when Saturday evening's began with an outing to Blockbuster and the local takeaway ( of your choice) now it's Netflix and Just eat😂

thenightsky · 24/02/2020 18:22

Denise is getting on my wick too, with her blowing hot and cold to Ken. I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for him.

x2boys · 24/02/2020 18:30

Yes,she,s annoying you could blame the pregnancy hormones ,but look how she turns out in years to comeHmm

Mammatino · 24/02/2020 18:30

I'm just catching up and really laughing a jealous mavis. The crack about reading the colour of her hair off the bottle was great, I never thought of mavis as a bitch. Fiona is just a stroppy cow, she's horrible do we think she gets better over time? I remember really liking her when I was 15.
