A story about three women. One is neurotic. One drops her knickers at the drop of a hat for a stranger. One is considering prostituting herself.

Yawn. It's so boring and I don't care what happens to any of them.

It is reminding me how relieved I am I got rid of my gambling addict ex though which is the only good thing about it.

They are all failing as mothers too. Yawn.

Ok so how is it Anna Friel's fault if another girl doesn't turn up for a sleepover? Where was she meant to pick her up from?

I thought it was entertaining. Daft, but entertaining.

They’re all so unlikeable aren’t they. Even the physio woman and I bloody love that actress. Anna Friel is one of the worst actresses out there. No idea how she keeps getting work.

The only good things were the views of the Lake District. Women behaving in ridiculous ways, men either weak or predatory. Nothing believable or gripping, no likeable characters. What a disappointment.

Ugly stuff. Are all dark skinned men sexual predators on that planet, or just those two?

Mothers who work are failing.

I’m watching on +1 and actually started laughing when Anna Friel went to find the toilet at the dinner party. As if they wouldn’t have a downstairs one! Did she really have to go up to the bedroom to find the en-suite one, trying the perfume on the way. And then, did she do as normal people would do when someone they’ve just met comes into the bathroom and tell them
“oops, sorry, I got a bit lost, do you think they’ll mind me using this one? You can use it first if you like or i’ll Go downstairs” and then look horrified at the predatory look on the man’s face when he approached her with a leer. No, she instantly got up on the side and took her knickers off. Then FORGOT to put them back on again so decided it would be a good idea next day to go back to the house tonlook for the knickers on the bathroom floor!

Utter dross.....

I’m not not even sure I can watch it for the scenery and posh houses.

The characters are laughable. Why is the physio even entertaining the presence of the snaky businessman in the clinic building after he propositioned her like a pimp, never mind allowing him into the treatment room. It’s like a really bad “Indecent Proposal”

AND I noticed on ITV Hub that despite the full series being on there, as was advertised at the end of the episode by the announcer, there is only episode 1 and 6 available. I wonder whether they know it’s shit so won’t air the rest but leave episode 6 on there for the 2 people that desperately want to know what happened in the end?

It was bizarre.

Why on earth didn’t she lock the bathroom door when she was looking for her knickers?

I couldn't find the rest on ITV Hub after so was a bit miffed but yes it was quite lame wasn't it.

Perhaps it improves next week.

There are two Paula Daly books here in a weird kind of mash up. She is a brilliant writer and the books are very good but having both stories running like this is a bit confusing. It's annoying me.
I bet that Joanne the detective isn't a main player here ( as she is in the books) she is a great character as is her auntie.
The thong thing didn't happen in the book.
