Looks like we have two months to catch this on ITV Hub before they disappear again.

May I suggest that we start each post in bold with the episode being discussed? Like, Episode 1 ? And try to discuss episodes at a similar rate, so we're not discussing episode 10 within the first 20 posts?

Totally agree, it makes S5 girls look even more fake.

I'm sure they won't give in as many clothes in series 2 hence they all have their own style

Alex is the proper bad boy isn't he. I can understand the attraction even though he's not really my type. Definitely the type you'd shag not have a relationship with.

Dislike Scott the most at the moment.

@ClubSandwich nope I don't get it either. Okay, he has a nice body but that's it. I also don't get Terry, again nice bod but I don't get his heart-throb status.

Really dislike Scott and Kady, she can be vile.

@ILoveYou3000 yeah agree on Terry too, thought he was nice looking when he first came in but his personality spoils it!

At first I really like Terry but his personality has made his less attractive. Like his body and tattoos.

Have just watched the 'mugged off' challenge. It's brutal, much better version than the quotes from the public.

I'm on Episode 4 watching Scott and Kady on a date and Scott is being horrible.

I really think they are so horrible as a couple, they bring the worst out in each other for sure.

I’m currently on season 1 - kind of watching but not watching, can’t warm to anyone. They are all really unlikeable imo. Especially the boys!! I’m on episode 8, gonna keep watching but if it doesn’t get any better I’m gonna go to season 3!

I am still battling on and at episode 5. I wish that they'd tell us more often who is who, especially as half the time I'm just listening rather than carefully watching.

The behaviour is pretty terrible - the men are crude, cruel and negging and the women just take it - simpering and giggling as if they're being complimented. Makes me grateful for the fake, scripted series of more recent years.

I think you're right, the trouble is viewing wise it obviously makes more interesting viewing as there are way more arguements etc and it is a lot more brutal. I have found it way more interesting than S4 and 5 as a bit like the 1st 2 or 3 Big Brother series it is still new and experimental, if you ignore the fact it is fucking with people's lives. The challenges are specifically thereto cause upset plus one or two other things the producers do to cause trouble. They are way more cautious now, and rightly so.

I am on episode 38 (have whizzed through as work from home so just its on in the background). A few pp on here have mentioned bullying but I am 3/4 through the episode but i actually think that is slightly dramatic. They actually avoided being top unkind to her and got their grievances off their chests privately. They were quite diplomatic with her and tried to get her to understand why it had caused upset. Sophie has come across pretty awful to the other islanders so I can understand why they feel as they do, she was also dishonest and even said she didn't really like Tom that much after he left. I think the trouble with this is that we at home can see Sophies vulnerability especially with knowing what we do of her future, I think on the outside to the islanders she comes across very strong. It is very hard to look at it objectively knowing about her. It is devastating, so sad.

Wow Episode 5 Javi, and pretty much Dan, begging Zara to pick them in the recoupling. Javi's behaviour is pathetic and he doesn't seem to realise that the camera and mics pick up on it. Please let Zara pick Dan.

I definitely changed my opinion of a few of the islanders by the end, there were a couple of people who really turned out to be lovely.

Episode 7 escalated quickly. Malia didn't last long.

That was all a bit weird, massive overreaction, just goes to show how heightened everything is in there I think.

I have just caught up on the actual series 2 MN thread. So interesting reading everyone's views, in particular about whether the couples will last or not and how peoples feelings changed over time about the islanders.
