The sheet thing was odd. It’s a throw back to when Mark wouldn’t sleep at hers because she had shit sheets and he only liked a certain type (and we’re meant to assume that every other gf including Steph had these sheets ) so I think they put it in for continuity and to show that they remember somethings from past plots (but not others like people’s ages etc).
