Whenever Wimbledon is over I always wish it could start again and that I'd really savour it and enjoy every minute this time Sad.

It's ages til the US Open and that's not the same anyway. At least there are some Masters before that, where there should be some better results for Zverev, Tsitsipas and co. I hope. And Delpo's crutches are off (clutching at straws). He congratulated Simona in her win, wonder if he'll do the same for Djok (probably).

This year I didn’t really get into it til about Thursday of the 2nd week so I haven’t made the most of it. Will be bereft tomorrow though!

The worst part about the US open is Amazon Prime. (oh and all the noise/eating/noise)

Sometimes I can get AP to work reliably, other times not.

I'm guessing Montreal and Cincy will be on there too.

I will miss it dreadfully, but it will open up some time for me to get things done! I will be humming the bbc theme tune as I do love it. Been a pleasure spending time with you all 😀. See you for the US Open.

Am the same as you, Jane - nothing until RG.

It was a great final - but not quite as amazing as the Halep/Williams - didn't take my breath away like that one did.

Sad it's all over - I know I will be grumpy tomorrow (so does DH!).

But I will be kept going by the chat & tennis gossip here.

I'm recording TaW, so will probably watch tomorrow and then that will be it until maybe December - are the tour finals still in London or are they moving this year?

Not having Sky or Amazon Prime, I will have to rely on you lovely lot to keep me amused and up to speed.

magi Simona was absolutely brilliant wasn't she? I was reading this morning that she only made 5 errors in the whole match - a record for finals.

I managed an hour and twenty minutes away from you! My besties! I forgot that I have TAW on record so I will indulge in that before making sure my amazon prime is in place for the US. Is it worth getting Sky just for the tennis? DH is musing whether the Virgin broadband is reliable enough and if not, it makes sense for us to take a broadband, phone and tv package with someone else. Just need to know whether to steer him towards Sky or not. Amazon prime is a given as we rely on the next day delivery to buy things quickly for DS2 who has additional needs.
